Pet totem stomp macros & scripts

Totem stomp macros…

I’ve been putting in a lot of hours playing on the beta. Playing mostly arenas.

The totem stomp macros are a problem, because they require no conscious effort from the player using them, but the effect on gameplay is huge.

Without ever seeing the totem, not registering that it has been placed, not having made any conscious thought or decision on destroying it, their pets will run and kill it.

It is frustrating because there is no actual skill involved in it. Having their pets run around slamming down any, and every totem as soon as they come into existence, just because they have a macro binded to every spell they use.
To allow these macros & scripts to work, just takes away from the complexity and skill involved in arena gameplay. Totem placements mean nothing with a macro like this.

I really hope something will be done to deal with it. As it was dealt with back in the day, in WotLK, by making it so that macros and scripts are unable to taget totems by name.

Thanks for reading.

I used to drop the totems on the way to an enemy, not at my feet when I’m near them.

Does TBC have the totem preset, the four at the same time, or was that later?

Think that came in cata
