It is a balance issue, the dual-wielding Wrathguard did more dmg than the Felguard.
So they balanced it by removing one weapon.
They just give us back the grimmore of supremacy. Instead of Inner demons this Talent should be baseline, so we have at least a minor feeling about the master summoner.

As if the whole game hasn’t had a balancing issue but I like your idea.
I would advocate for a dual-wielding animation on a single auto-attack fix as in the pet does one attack but it’s animated as a dual-wielding attack.
There are ways to fix this, we just need the developers to acknowledge that our lack of dual-wielding Wrathguard is not fun and they need to fix it.
