You’re doing content that’s designed to be easy and approachable. If it bothers you, move up in the difficulty. You’ll find that that the game can be plenty challenging and that you very much do need to use your utility on top of doing enough damage.
Thats exactly what I mean. The tank choses the dps trinket before the survival trinket. The healer chosing the dps talent instead of mass cure or mass entanglement.
I am mostly playing M+ and occasionally raids btw. Maybe longer fights, longer timers or shorter dungeons would lead to more versatile play.
Maybe adding bonus time for avoiding a fight by ccing or sneaking over a group. A rogue could pick pocket to make a fight easier (like in court of stars; what a great idea that was!). Court of Stars is imo one of the well thought through dungeons and a lot of fun!
It sure was - imo, that whole zone is the best designed places in the game
If that’s the case, then why exactly is VDH so broken right now, surely not because he can mass Silence twice with his Sigil and has CDR on them.
Why is there an entire affix that needs to be Hard CC’d?
Just do the content, you’re trying to talk about, instead of making baseless claims…
i agree with the OP that’s how it is in raids. it’s just boring but m+ has a bit more variety of things you can do. but the problem there is if your class can do some stuff, you lose dps and that sucks

And that changes what exactly? You still need to kick the casts, no matter the level, speaking from experience with the Nokhud Plainstomper and there Disruptive Shout, was really cool to get hit for 1.2 Mill because noone kicked it on a 7. 
Tbf if you’re playing in a way to leave substantial potential DPS on the table whether as a tank, a healer or a DPS then you’re bad at your role.
