Edit: Blizzard actually listened and changed it to the red one!

9.2 is likely going to be the last season of shadowlands. The m+ mount of 9.2 is red and looks amazing but for some reason the 9.2 gladiator mount is green colored which looks almost identical to current season mount.

There is amazing looking red version of the mount that will sadly never be used:

Would be really cool if they could change the mount to be the red one so both m+ and arena have red mounts. What do you guys think?

Why should they put more effort into such a minority pursuit? They really do have bigger things to worry about.

It wouldn’t require any effort. They could just change the reward to be the red one instead. The model is there :slightly_smiling_face:

The red mount is exactly what I was hoping for patch 9.2

I think it would be a real shame to waste the red glad mount.

I remember when Shadowlands was first datamined, thats the Number 1 mount I wanted out of the whole new expansion.

Please Blizzard!!!

I’d prefer if they switched the m+ mount and the glad mount for 9.2, may actually consider doing m+ if they did that.

It’s always disappointing when we can see there are extra models/variations of things in the game but they never use them.

Seems like wowhead also noticed the “wrong” color mount. Lets hope some dev at blizzard sees it.

Are we really really sure 9.2 is the last patch tho? They said it’s the end of the storyline of shadowlands… but didn’t say specifically it was the last major patch.
Still no AotC mount was shown for the Heroic Raid kill? That usually is the case for the last boss of every expac. I wonder why that’s the case?
Not into conspiracy theories, but what if there will be some kind of 9.3 patch, but the action and storyline will be a bit different, acting as a bridge to the next expansion? Maybe even happening on Azeroth?
I feel like I wanna belive that.

Are we sure it is not placeholder? Because it being literally identical feels… wrong. I don’t think they’d go this far, considering that a recolour doesn’t even require this much effort in the first place.

Next one must be red variant it looks much better compared to currently planned one.

I’m just afraid since they pulled this on us in legion. Last season tabard was literally same as one of the earlier seasons. :frowning:
