Anyone know how to get our pet’s name as mention in title?
I’ve seen some Chinese one on us stream but looks like it doesn’t work to change client and login it says ‘’ you play with another language ‘’ something like that.
You could try changing the name of the pet using that countries character set. Try it on a throw away pet first though.
I did but it doesn’t work, I can’t log I got a message in Russian or Chinese saying I try to log on a realm with another language.
But I can go on german/Spanish/english/French realm it sounds stupid xD
I am not saying change your games language. Do not do that, change your pets name, but you can only do that on a hunter. Not a warlock.
Ah yes but I know it can work also for lock when you speak to the warlock’s trainer with the games setup in Russian or Chinese language.

Edit: I tried it on Us side and it does work in Russian, it should work as Chinese too I guess but it EU you can’t log for no reason :s
That video is very old and I’m sure they changed it so you can’t log in with a non EU language into the EU Game Unless you play on the Russian realms, which I could log into using Russian.
I can change the language but it stops at the realm list and displays a message I can’t read (obviously). I think they plugged the hole that the video uses, or exploits.
Doesn’t work anymore, just gives you an error saying you’re trying to play the game in a different language.
Unfortunately I doesn’t work but for no reason on us it works and the US file ‘’ wtf’’ is exactly the same as the one from Eu I tried to change it manually ut still got the error issue 
I saw Malfiva talk about it in legion…idk he changed something in his wow files or something like that RIP
You change the language in the file and log in, problem is you can’t get to a realm in the EU, only the realmlist.
Yep in EU you can’t log anywhere but in US you can whatever the language, you just need to change the language and tame a pet (for hunter) and speak to warlock’s trainer to get a new named pet for lock. Simple as that.
