Phase 3 parse meta

I’ll just start by saying anyone that checks the log’s of someone that is simply trying to play the game has always been against the MMO philosophy, im in a guild so it doesn’t effect me in anyway but i still see it all the time,

but now its completely flawed,

If you actively check logs you’re not checking to see if that player understands mechanics, their class and rotation, no no

you’re now checking to see who has the most gold, because gold = consumes, and consumes = doing the most damage and healing, and because professions are 300 max the power increase you can acquire is endless,

why does this now mean its flawed?

right now the economy has been shafted by incursions meaning consume prices have soared, and anyone with a pair of eyes can do incursions,

you could be checking the logs of someone that has no idea how to perform their rotation, ignores mechanics but because they have all the best consumes in the game they can cheese the dps / healing meters and therefore getting a high parse, which then means you log checkers instantly think you’re inviting a gamer that can carry you,

this isn’t a rant, its just a warning, that one player might be able to do good healing with all their maxed out consumes, but can they simply dispell you? who knows

I wish I had the most gold.
Man I wish I had a lot of gold.
I used to, but then P3 came and everybody has a lot now.

I am actually thinking the exact opposite…
Most influence on a good dps has the

1: understanding of boss mechanics (if you die you dont deal damage) and ofc the

2: understanding of the rotation.

3: raid composition - if you get all good auras and Buffs it weights more than some elixirs. For me as an affli warlock a shadow priest gives me +10% damage. If i had to choose between elixirs or a shadow priest it should be clear what to prefer.

4: Buffs and consumables are on rank 4 for me. They can be strong, but not if you die or press the wrong buttons.

5: Then comes gear you are wearing… the difference between wearing prebis gear and bis gear is merely more than 1 elixir(for me as a warlock) :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

blizz should hide logs api. it’s not fair that people can inspect your history on 3rd party sites and refuse inv for raid

IDD

Firt ID we burned everything on eranikus, we killed him with just world buffs and i have 97 parses on hakkar with cheapest agi and str consumables and world buffs

OP just rolls his face on keyboard, just a bad player looking for excuses

i don’t care. i cleared ST with my guild at 1st attempt. i just remember that before i joined my Guild i got some refuses for ICC at wotlk server. someone said me “your logs are bad”. I answered you are bad and ignored. Checking logs is extremally toxic. Maybe someone didn’t know tactic but learned and now is good? People shouldn’t be punished for learning

Looks like your guild carried you as you died in the in the first few mins of Hakkar by standing in blood?

This is what logs are for

OP logged his real account and started calling people names.

Yeap, that’s exactly why u suck and didn’t get a single invite into ST.

You are just toxic.

Im not the OP, you are paranoid. Tbh , i never really do raid in my life and wont do it in the Future. Because of exactly this parsing bulls*it and toxic pve Community. All i do is Arena and pvp, be it in retail or Classic. Sorry but you cant get me with this stuff🤣 gl and hf

“Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited.”

yes and what these log shows? i died on it because i didn’t know that i can go with debuff exactly under melees. now i know and i won’t die again in this way. imagine that i could be non invited for ST in future because of 1 mistake

personally i would invite you without any problem, you are above 50% of warlocks and with those 2 deaths excluded you’d be above 65-70% warlock players, you are clearly above average mate

you also had
Curse of Recklessness up for 90% of time
apart from 1st boss rotation was decent, you are not a bad player at all

this thread is not about me anyway. player history should not be available for others because it’s cringe and not fair. maybe if it showed kills amount only but these deep info is total terryfing. i cant chill because i think im recorded all time

in that case work history and education written in CV should also be banned, because it discriminates potential employees… oh wait, you want a good performing ppl at your company, not blindly giving them positions

it’s a necessary tool

apart from the fact that wow is a game and not a professional job

Yeah, but you still spend like 3-4 hours sometimes in a raid with ppl, why sacrifice your own time while others have no idea how to play? Care about your own wellbeing, having fun, not becoming frustrated after 16th wipe on Hakkar. Why struggle if you can have fun with others?

Relax dude its an easy game classic :rofl:

for me it would be less offensive to get kicked after a few mistakes than not to be invited at all because of old logs
