I’m still using physical authenticator. Does it still going to work since Battle.net authenticator going to be available trought Battle.net app? Or I have to migrate?
I haven’t seen anything that says they are preventing the use of the physical authenticator. The authenticaor app has been available for years as a sperate app to battle.net, they have just combined the two into a single app.
Better migrate before your battery dies or otherwise you will be locked out of your account and would need to go through some steps to unlock it.
They aren’t preventing the use of old authenticators, they will all continue to give valid codes.
That they are doing is merging the old mobile authenticator into their new “Battlenet” app, and removing the old mobile authenticator from the iPhone app store, and google play. But people who already have the old ones, will continue to be able to use them.
But as Valanel said, you probably should migrate before your battery dies.
