Picking a good PvP class :I

Hey everyone!

So I have played my DK since I got “serious” with WoW at the end of Legion, and would now love to check up on which classes are my best fit when it comes to PvP. :slightly_smiling_face:

It is VERY important for anyone reading this to understand, that I am NOT asking which class “is the meta right now”, since I am looking to pick a long term character. The “flavor of the month” is not relevant to me.

All classes have a core class design/playstyle, that either fits incredibly well for PvP, or completely sucks at it, and I am trying to narrow down which.

So here I am, asking the community to help me understand which classes are labled as [You will struggle constantly in PvP] or as [You will have a good time in PvP]. :upside_down_face:

I know that the “PvP type” is probably relevant as well. So, I am looking to do mainly BGs and duels/WPvP/1v1s. :slight_smile: I have no interest in Arena. :grimacing:

And just to avoid comments being mainly: “You need to pick Rogue or Mage”… I would love some suggestions besides those two classes. :slight_smile: Maybe a couple class suggestions would be nice. :blush:

If class for everything = druid.

Its the best time to play Death Knight. S tier meele spec. Insane burst and sustain, very hard to kill. Healers will sit in queue to play games with you. Free glad rating. You will also get a lot of chicks.

mhm if u dont plan to play rated pvp i wouldnt recommand to play this xpac at all.
the gear obtainable with unrated pvp is so much weaker then upgraded rated gear and players wit that will stomp u hard in bgs and wpvp.

Sad but true… You need some kind of rating. Rated bg is possible tho. It’s not as bs as arena atm.

If you just want to kill things, roll hunter.

Hunter by far the most OP class in game. It is the easiest class in game as well, taking no skill at all. Subtlety is another braindead spec that you can play to simple delete people.

If you are looking to not get bored, roll something else.

I can only suggest a class based on my own experiences. I’m someone who plays alts and found a range class to be more fun compared to a melee or healer. Or less stressful since you can get away with lower gear.

Personally I like warlock since it seems to do good damage with lower ilevel gear, has some useful defensive cooldowns, fun talents like the rift and provides something for the team like healthstones.
