Same. The majority of my time in WoW is spent on leveling alts and collecting things in old parts of the world. And honestly I enjoy that much more than whatever is the current content in part BECAUSE of the lack of other players. It’s not like I never meet other players in old areas. I do, but it’s not overly crowded like it is in TWW zones and I love it. It’s so much more chill and you can just relax, go at your own pace and actually enjoy the scenery without having a bunch of other players ruining the view all the time or parking 3 giant mounts on top of the quest giver.
I hope they keep all the old zones as is. It’s fine if they wanna do a Zidormi thing with them, so the areas can be reused for new expansions as long as we can still explore in and do the quests from the old version. The more content the better rather than them removing stuff. I also enjoyed the quests both in Legion and in Dragonflight that temporarily brought you back to visit some old zones. “Oh it’s been a while since I’ve been here. I should really come back for an extended visit soon!”
Honestly the worst thing about those send you back to old zones in a storyline for end game is how damned overcrowded it suddenly becomes.
I liked the fact that the Undermine story took place in a portion of one of the BFA zones complete with the map being made a little bigger. I’d like to see more of that when and where it makes sense.
It’s a newer zone but seeing the Ringing Deeps become larger was also pretty great.
That’s true. I guess I was just enjoying them because I was doing some DF/Legion stuff this past month, so not crowded though I did meet some players on my travels.
I had to go and do it on an alt at a later date and it was so nice when everyone isn’t there.
You have been bored for how many expansions now, yet you still keep coming back. Why?
that’s none of your business ?
It is a remarkable feat to create so many things and discard them just as quickly.
Blizzard has the content and world to deliver a truly unique experience for every single character with only a little bit of remixing, yet they choose to do… this.
It’s not broke
We have noticed.
thanks for your useless meaningless replies
Trust me when I say they are doing their best to prevent movement around the Warcraft maps. Total confusing mess. I’m sure they would prefer to simply have a starter area and then the latest expansion and forget the rest of the stuff. Dunno why they call it the World of Warcraft anymore. Like there is any ‘World’ left.
remember world epics… i’m not even sure if there are any big valuable items in tww that you can get from world content
So no answer then. I’ll just chuck your behavior as doomposting then.
you already hate everything i post here why would i bother with explaining myself to you for a thousandth time
I don’t hate it, I tend to disagree with it, but not really hate it. Oh and btw I do agree with you that WoW is neglecting 99% of it’s content each time a new patch hits, but this is a topic that has been brought up and discussed to death already. I am just wondering why are you still playin a game you clearly hate, because I have never seen you post anything positive about it.
i don’t hate it. but i don’t have enough time to keep praising the parts that i love. i keep paying to play this game which means there are obviously some aspects of it that i enjoy.
if you really want examples, i love class halls, racials, lore(as a whole) and raiding experience(even tho i don’t do high-end raiding).
I also enjoy tmog hunting mount collecting etc.
however, i don’t think this game is perfect.
forums are here for taking feedback(that’s how i see it, i’m not here to make friends)
i also have deep knowledge of the industry and have experience both as a dev(not working on games) & a player.
i am constantly praissing wow irl & draw players to the game but this is not the place for that imo.
if you don’t like my takes, you can just ignore me.
stop being so salty tho.
The pile of useless junk in my bags keeps growing too.
As a returning player I love the ‘old content’. I think I spent more time there than in the most recent expansions.
