Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any idea what latency I’ll get playing on EU servers (Stormscale) from Toronto on a wired connection? Most reading says around 80-100ms . Is this playable? I think it probably is but just wondering if anyone has any experience.
Cheers
Anything below a ping of 180 is perfectly playable without any input delay.
Slootbag , (twitch.tv/sloot) ex GM and raidleader for Future guild and now main Tank for BDGG formally Big Dumb Guild and a world top 20 WF raider. (He as two account both EU and NA).
Played EU for 6 years from Toronto with no real issues, He as said many times the time zone difference was negligible for him, obvious ping slightly higher averaging 100 ms but game play wise barely noticeable, the only reason he has gone back to NA is because of many of his guild members on EU taking a break or quitting the game in Shadowlands plus he got the opportunity to join and main tank for BDGG who are WF top 10 guild currently world 7th
You should be ok, especially if you play pve only. WoW isn’t a game where you need 200ms reaction time.
Sweet, cheers all for the answers.
