Pink / Purple Ny'alotha leather gear

Quick question, since google didn’t help:

Does anybody remember how one aquired the pink / purple version of the Ny’alotha gear without raiding? (the nhc raid version so to say)

I’m missing the leather shoulders and wanted to get them as quickly as possible to complete the set.

Did the Invasions reward the pink version? (Think it was the green one, though, since I did those more often and have the full set of those)

Or did the Visions reward the pink / purple one? (does the amoutn of masks matter?)

Hm, guess not - the pants were green. Strange. Was I that lucky with TW dungeon rewards? :thinking:

EDIT:
Purple seems to be Normal; pink seems to be Mythic, if my research is correct.

&

are a look unique to Ny’alotha, the Waking City, unfortunately.

I mean the nhc one, I have all pieces but the shoulders and I never raided outside of LFR during BfA+, so I’m just wondering how I got those. But it’s definitely not from the visions, even with all masks the reward is the greenish tint and not the other one. I’m just a bit puzzled that in that case I seem to have been really lucky with the TW chest rewards for nhc loot. … But thx for the help, guess I’ll have to be content with some other shoulders until BfA turns legacy. :slight_smile:

Can you link any of the pieces you DO have, so I can try looking for the set (if there is one), please?

Yeah, that’s what I was looking for as well. Have made a new void elf rogue, female this time, and on her the set looks really nice and fitting for a totally corrupted sub rogue… but well, need some other shoulders. ;>

EDIT:
*Looks like Head & Legs could drop from “Ny’alotha World Bosses”… and Legs & Feet were available from BfA LW, 165 Skill.

uhm maybe the box from completing the big assault? (vale, uldum)

Yup. but I’m 85% sure with those that they gave the green tint.

normal gear drops from cache uldum/vale and visions (even 0 mask completion gives a single chest with item , you can do 0, 1 ,2,3,etc masks runs for more items)
black empire campaign that u do to access visions/invasions gives u a chest/shoulder choice IIRC in the vale campaign and bracers uldum

heroic gear drops from raid

each class has different sets so colours are irelevant and confusing in your question

LFR also has a distinct set, you cant solo it probably…make group in custom and wait likeminded transmog farmer

If I remember correctly, reading your post, you’re looking for the Normal Ny’alotha transmog that drops from Il’gynoth or N’zoth.
I wanted them for my Void elf monk back in BFA and I had to farm Normal as, it appears, the item appearance doesn’t drop anywhere else.

According to this old post in WoWhead, Visions drop LFR tint:

I don’t remember how N’zoth Assaults tint was but if I’m not wrong (and feel free to correct me on this) you’ll have to wait till Ny’alotha can be solo in order to get the transmog.
