Ok so i have been using my crystal ball this morning and im convinced that this patch has something to do with booty bay.

i think its a red herring,
and i think Blizzard know that
ill have a guess its something to do with like the brawlers guild or maybe an invasion event
its not uncommon to have invasion events prior to new expansions

God I hope not… that was the worst feature in BfA if you’re a collector with its extreme RNG between islands that were up, enemy type, etc. … and stuff were specific to that.

Exactly and booty bay is in wow classic this event will be in both expansions they say which points my crystal ball to booty bay
Usually it’s pre-patch events that are strongly linked to the next expansion, not filler-content like 10.2.6, Forbidden reach had some unexplained pirate presence, and pirates is the sort of theme that is good enough for a single patch, but doesn’t have the depth for a whole expansion.
I disagree it could be a whole expansion if they rebooted booty bay introduced boats as player housing and took us out the the forbidden seas.
Kinda like assasins creed black flag but in wow that would be a fun expansion without a doubt also who would not want a customisable boat we can go and discover un charted territory and introduce new lore in to the game while doing so.
I really hope they fix up Booty Bay, it has been neglected for far too long, since the Cataclysm it has been a mess which just doesn’t seem right at all with how industrious Goblins are.
BB was the destination I had my first great adventure swimming down at level 15 and being murderfied by dinosaurs and fireballs
It would be very interesting but they would have to add dynamic water to an expansion like this with waves etc and storms
If I see a lot of Kul’tiran booties, this might be the greatest patch ever.
I think we got some waves VFX on the water surface during the Vash’jir intro quest in cataclysm (I may be wrong or confusing with Nazjatar or something , it’s been a while).

Yeaah they have kinda got it with the forbidden reach aswell but its a scenario.
Blizz cant hide them seas from us forever here is to the eventual pirate themed expansion 
I have already got my pirate transmogg for the expansion that may or may not happen in about 7 years time haha
maybe because we got Gilneas back, we’ll be going back to the Goblin starting island which has been taken over by the bloodsail pirates.
can we be in solidarity to all wear Pirate transmogs for the release
