Latest hotfix makes the first 3 bosses unskipable

I feel sorry for the people who wants the mount and now has to solo all bosses

It only prevents you from killing the last boss if you’ve skiped the 1st 3 bosses.
You need to kill the last 2 bosses solo for the mount. So yeah, I feel sorry for the people who still wants it as the first 2 bosses will be pretty tough to solo.

If I remember correctly, you can have help on the first two bosses, and you only need to solo the last two. I seem to recall people figuring out ways to help their friends and guildies, by clearing trash (and even the first 2 bosses) for them.
Don’t have a link, though, so I might be wrong. 
- Developers’ note: The first two bosses of the dungeon were frequently being skipped in lower-difficulty dungeons, typically by groups who were trying to earn Renown much faster than intended. To improve players’ Renown earnings, we’ve also added a chance for Renown to be earned by completing layers in Torghast (see hotfix below).
If getting renown it’s this easy why the change? It is nothing to do with Renown. They could’ve given Renown at “dungeon completed” with all 4 bosses down and keep the things as they were.
This might be something to do with speed runs and complains… which means more paperwork for Blizz Employees.
And also the new powers skip 
where you could skip all, get all anima powers, deal with last 2 bosses and finish the other 2.
Instead now it would be a waste of time gathering all powers, go back to kill the first 2 and then the last 2.

That’s literally what it says. People were earning Renown too fast by skipping the first two bosses. The change is also rather pointless, because PF will still be the best dungeon to gain Renown, a whole lot faster than Torghast: skip all the trash, kill the two bosses, move on. Adds about 2-4 minutes a run total.
That was never worth it, way too much backtracking. The time you gain by having two extra powers is much less than the time you spend travelling back.
It was always a waste of time.
Wasn’t Echo who left second boss alive to cheat and then finish it off at last? 
Only the last two bosses need to be soloed, also there’s some amount of karma to all the people who caused so much grief skipping bosses in lfg/lfd dungeon of normal / hc

Not in S2, nope. The only reason they kept the 2nd boss alive (and they did kill the first!) was to have Plagueborers spawn infinitely, and abuse the misdirect bug. Both have been fixed a long while ago, and we’re not in S1 anymore, either.
Glad they fixed it. People were often kicked for NOT wanting to skip stuff.

They were kicked for not wanting to follow what the majority wanted. There’s a difference.
The only thing I could do for a friend was to party up but he had to stay outside, then I went and killed all the trash, with just me in the dungeon. Then I ran out and he could run in and do what he needed to do.
On the up side we’ll see a lot less complaints about skipping when levelling.
I can see both sides but for me personally, I’m glad they did this.
I’m still of the opinion that if a boss can be skipped, then it shouldn’t be there in the first place.
This seems to be a fix against renown farming though rather than skippable bosses. There are still lots of those in dungeons.
Yay now we can all waste our time together killing bosses that give no xp or worthwhile loot. Hoorah. Oh wait never mind the game is so boring that I can’t even find the energy to level anymore. And what’s the point anyways. Not like BFA or Legion content is soloable. So what good are alts then?

The mission table is efficient yeah. But even though I have around 30 alts set up with all followers acquired I just can’t even find the energy to log on and send the missions. Dunno 9.1 sapped all the fun out of the game for me.

Haha I know it’s a meme but I acutllay used to like sending the missions back in Legion from my phone. If only the new missions were doable without an addon. But they are a complete mess atm and the new ones they added in combination with the person who made the addon quiting and not updating it doesn’t help at all
