Who would waste ~150 G on silver quality for 4.5% more movement speed when you can get 5% by spending 750 G?
Those 0.5% speed are totally worth it and can make the difference between wealth and poverty.
It’s even more fun because if you buy silver quality, the game rounds the displayed percentage down, so you cannot even be sure whether silver quality does anything. Double incentive to buy gold quality!
I understand that balancing is important. Imagine the insane exploit potential if Plainsrunner speed gains were 3, 4 and 5% instead of 4, 4.5 and 5%. What would be the incentive to craft bronze then?
And totally insane would be higher figures, like 4, 5 and 6%.
