Plate always better than leather and cloth?

Why plates armors transmog are always better looking than leather or cloth ?

I’ve yet to see a decent looking plate mog in recent expansions, while we had a number of great leather and cloth mogs. Guess tastes are different, eh?

That’s basicly what it comes to, in the end.
I personally think Cloth is probably the type of armor with the biggest amount of good looking mogs, probably followed by Plate or Leather.

My experience with the quality of armor types are more like cloth>plate>leather>mail.
That said, all 4 categories have at least a single decent looking set and a few individual pieces, but for me, none of them beats xmogs like Soulcloth vest (a one of a kind tube top, very pretty on my human mage I think) or Mooncloth/Gossamer Robe and their recolors. I do need to remark that the vanilla Revenant chestplate and the Gimmering Mail sets are also rare beauties, as an example, but I could easily build a dark assassin set from the Rogue T2 hood Black variant and the Scouting vanilla set, so anything’s possible mostly.

I rerolled war (used to be rogue/dh), they have really good stuff but leather is great too.
Leather/Plate > Cloth > pepe poo >>>>> mail

Agreed here.

Personally, I rate Leather > Cloth > Mail > Plate in terms of views.

But my ability to make a good set would probably be more like:

Leather > Mail > Plate > Cloth

Mainly because I have such difficulty both playing and working with Cloth and Plate classes.

Leather has more skimpy stuff than plate.

I trade my boring leggos and you trade me the warbear panty, ok booga?

@OP
Plate and Leather have the best looks, plate can be great, you just have to know some pieces to make a good looking mog.

I’m working on one atm but I’ve been switching covenant and it slowed me down. Screw power, I’ll just go for cosmetics.
