hello Guys im play on realm Outland and after recent update i have really hard time found any platinum ore . and after ticket gm told nice all is fine im just probably stupid 
and send me link to wowhead so i follow and result same ā¦ any of you have harder to found platinum since 8.1 or just me is unlucky or stupidā¦ thx all
Have you looked on the AH to see how much is being sold and what the prices are like to give an indication of rarity?
Wowhead is probably the bet source of info though sadly.
yes is so expensive now and with current gold income in bfa is juts crazy . 16k for 200 pcs what is like 4 skills if you over 130 level
Sounds like itās a rare item then. Iāve not got a miner in bfa yet so canāt say for sure. Sorry I canāt help more.

it was rare before 8.1 now is is seriously hard. hope they will fix it and ppl can enjoy profession and crafting .

just cause a gm says its working as intended, dont take that as gospel. a lot of gms dont seem to know or understand the current state of things. i basically got into an arguement with a gm cause 4 different gms told me that patch 8.1 did NO CHANGES to uātaka fish schools, though i KNOW that something had changed as what was usually a 10-20 min spawn was not spawning in over 2 hours and other players had noticed the same. the 5th gm then basically said that the other 4 gms had misspoke and had not intended to mislead me. total bs. they kept linking me to wowhead, where my comment was actually top saying that they were not spawning so the gmās were not even reading the thread.
and in relation to that, uātaka schools no longer spawn for horde toons, and rasboralus schools no longer spawn for alliance toons. this is the hidden change that gms would not confirm for me until i had them cornered but ive still not seen it mentioned anywhere officially.
while i dont play mainly on any gathering alts, or go out into the open world for that matter, and wont do until there is flying, i have noticed that platinum, while not as abundant as the other 2 ores, would pop maybe every 10 nodes or so i think. at least i had enough i thought when i reached the stage in engineering where i now HAD to use platinum to lvl. but now, i dont think iāve seen more than a couple of nodes since patch. i dont have hard numbers cause i dont care about professions atm until we get flying, but it does seem that the number of platinum nodes HAS dropped a lot. it feels now like titanium or khorium nodes.
āPlatinum Ore is a rare spawn of Monelite Ore, there is about 5-8% chance that once you mine a Monelite vein, it will respawn as Platinum Ore, so you should mine every ore you see.ā So basicly look for the route with the most monelite and youāll find platinum too, go to wow-professions . com and check the farming guides there.

because is game issue and there are here for us we pay for this service in our subā¦ and expansion , and platinum ore if become so rare there is no way to skill profession to max .

Iām guessing itās like Anchor Weed. So you just need to keep doing a circuit and youāll come across it.

hmm havenāt noticed any decline in its availability ā¦ youre probably just on a path that a scumbagboxer, I mean multiboxer, whos dravaged the entire area in the scumbag way that scumbagboxers, I mean multiboxers, do.
My problem with platinum isnt that is it rare. My problem is i have been farming it sicne Christmas and its still rank me and gives me single piece per nodeā¦ isnt it about frigging time for the q item for rank 2 to drop from an node?
Rank two is from the mining trainer I believe, once you hit BfA mining level 50.
Nope, i looked it up a month ago because it wouldnt drop. the mining trainer had 0 thing sleft to teach me and wowhead and such tell me its from an shard you get from mining
The one you posted is from stormsilver. and while it is true that quest started there its not true for the platinum one
My approach to gathering is to not actively look for any one commodityā¦ except at times when a BfA Quest wants me to.

Im pretty sure it was more āaccessableā when BfA launched.
Try switching to warmode, youāll get less if any multiboxers mining.
i try switch mode and is same is definitely in season two platinum ore is really hard to fond and in my server some ā¦ no words flip all platinum ore from 49 to 179 happy day ā¦
