Playable Fungarians based on IRL Hungarians!

Would you like it if Fungarians were fleshed out more in the game, based on Hungarian culture (which is not yet represented in WoW), and eventually made playable?

Racial Traits would be based around fungal characteristics like mycelium, spores, poisoning, and parasitism.

Playable classes would be everything except Paladins, Mages, and Warlocks (yes, fungus druids, yay!)

NPC sayings, jokes, and flirts would be in their mentality a kind of combination of Goblin, Undead, and Nightborne culture combined with fungus, mushroom, and decay puns.

Racial capital would be an underground biotech city called Fungapest.

Their biotech abilities would be greatly enhanced by a red spicy powder to which they are somewhat addicted (a pun on both Dune, and Hungarian Paprika)

So you’re saying that hungarian culture would be best depicted by some parasite overgrowth?

I was thinking more about the “Goblin, Undead, Nightborne” combo as a pretty good WoW-approximation of Hungarian culture.

The idea got into my head because “Fungarian” sounds similar to “Hungarian”

The other traits would be more due to the fungal nature of the WoW race, which I think also would be cool to implement. We would have a second Biotech race, not just the Night Elves for example.

Someone’s been doing mushrooms

So hungarians are like fungus?

az egészségre :clinking_glasses::blush:

You’d be surprised how much of WoW is based off of real life :slight_smile:

As for the topic at hand, I don’t think it would be great for Hungarian players to represent Hungary as parasites, as I’m pretty sure the game will get censored in Hungary eventually. Then again, it’s also somewhat true, as sad as it is.
