The people would come back in droves if they added Ogres (and Naga for good measure), or Murgles, I mean Murlocs per the genius suggestion above.
Makes you wonder on the people that work on this game when they decided to give us “earthern” dwarves instead. Either they’re incompetent or Danuser is dead set on moving on from “Warcraft” of old.
Yeh, I suspect it was easy for them to do (no need for new animations) and fit within the lore most people might know about from BfA. The content has been a bit light from DF and likely now from TWW too.
Ogres already have most armor wearable on them, and they got animations. So no, it’s not about that. It’s clearly that the current devs hate everything to do with old wow and want to replace it with something new.
Never saw the allure of ogres myself. Always wanted to be a blue vrykul woman from Storm Peaks, though.

In this case it really made me think; are the devs really THIS out of touch with their playerbase. How did they not see it coming that literally hardly anyone is interested in that new allied race?
As for ogres; they are some of the OG races from the RTS games, so yeah, I’m for it. Although I wouldn’t play one myself.

I want ogre so bad, then once warbands comeing, my character selection screen would be 4 batch burly ogres surrounding my pretty tiny elf

They probably dont want to do ogres because they also would have to do female ogres. And they would have to make the female ogres pretty otherwise woke people might cancel them for having ugly fat females as a playable race
Shame tho, ogres are such an iconic race wich literally already are in the horde to some extend
Easy or not. They’ve had what? Almost 2 decades to add ogres since this race hasn’t be requested just recently. It was one of the races asked for since the game launched. How hard can it be that it takes 2 decades or more?
