Player Blood Elves are older than Player Night Elves

I noticed that as start a new blood elf, the starting zone cinematic states “as one of the remaining blood elves, you…” whereas the NPCs in the night elf starting zone greet you as a “young” hunter, rogue, druid, or whatever you choose to be.

So, although it’s fine to RP whichever way you like, I thought it’s interesting how the player characters are actually viewed in the game.

A “young” Night Elf could still be like 3000 years old. It’s all relative.

Nah from canon Blizzard stand point Night Elves just like Blood Elves are with 20 years (physically) grown up. The difference is from the uncanon RPG books Blood Elves are considered mentally grown up with 80, Nightelves with 200.
Another thing. The Draenei Death Knight is considered one of the oldest Draenei as just like Velen and Jessara he whas still born on Argus. Meanwhile the Kaldoreideathknight would if what is said there true be actually only 6 year old.

Both elf type, they are older than the fart, I think after 60 mind your business and do not ask!

A night elf is considered middle aged when he hits around 500 years old, while Quel’dorei are considered middle aged when only 175, so their life spans are completely different.

But no matter, you as the player are the one that chooses your character’s age, lore and experience, as it isn’t recorded anywhere, your blood elf can as well be 30 years old and your night elf over 10.000 years.
