Someone went offline during a mythic+ run, we invited a new player, summoned them. They could not enter the mythic+ dungeon. The portal would not allow them to join us in order to complete the dungeon.
You can’t add new people to Mythic plus, once the key is in you are locked in to that party of people.
That’s how the system works , it’s not a bug .
How can I prevent people from leaving? I’m not God. makes no sense.
You can’t force people to stay. Sometimes people will leave, someone could have connection problems. If you can’t complete the key without the missing person then you will have to leave the dungeon, reset it and then you can run the key again at one level lower (with a replacement).
You cannot change party members once you have begun a Mythic+ dungeon. If one of your players disconnects or leaves the group, the dungeon must be reset in order to refill the group. All group members must be inside the dungeon before you can activate the Keystone.
Thanks for clarifying.
I’ll just do another lower lvl key.
You can play with friends
There are some friendly communities on both factions that can help people complete keys without the hassle or toxicity that can be found in some PuGs.
Pugging is hard , and some players will leave , play with friends / guildies or trying joining communities , best of luck
Ps : it’s a jungle out there
