Player faces

I know WoW is not The Sims, but that customize is lazy and miserable.

Take women human for example, all that faces are the same, I mean, that’s the same woman over and over again. That is an aesthetics nightmare.
Sometimes I even believe I’m playing World of Clones.

How much time do you spend glaring into the eyes of your character in game?

Human females actually got it pretty good now with the new customization options. Made my first and only human recently, she turned out really nice.

But with for example dreanei yeah the profile stays the same with all the faces. So it would be nice if more head shapes were added since most have the same but with just different textures.

Dragonage did things pretty good.

At character creation you could choose how your player icon’s face looked liked, from the emotion, to the angle it was looking at and some color options.

Ouch, now I feel like playing Dragonage 1 again lol.

The time needed to change that will not worth for Blizzard.
Since none will be 24/7 looking at a character face.

This is very true, I spend 99% of my time looking at my character from behind. Screenshots are probably the only time I look at the front view, and the character selection screen.

In games where I can do lots of customisation it takes me forever to get it all done.

Then, why is there a customisation tool in the first place?
That’s nonsense.

Same way that there is a lot of stuff on wow that none use.

People can’t cry that it doesn’t exist.

People don’t like to share data with 3rd parties like Raider IO but blizzard added an option to disable it, but if you disable it you can’t join mythic+ cause no IO is showed on your profile.

So any person who wants to play with pugs will not disable it, but the same person can’t cry that there is no way to disable it.

There’s always going to be people that use the same faces.

Just be glad there’s enough customization for hair styles and facial features to make player characters unique

There’s only one good face for troll females, lol.

You quoted one word and you expect me to understand what you mean?

Care to elaborate? What is nonsense?

They should work for a newspaper

I loved it in Origins but what happened in Inquisiton?
I hope they make a good character creator in DA4

i assume op meant to ask why those face customisations are in the game when you never look at them/only see your character from behind.

Feels like I’ve been waiting forever for that game

Let’s hope it’s worth the wait (it looks amazing so far)

I think I’m the only person who enjoyed Inquisition

Maybe, however, it is not nonsense that we spend the bulk of our time looking at the back of our chars xD

That doesn’t mean we don’t like having customisations though. Wish all races had equal numbers of options though. In other games it can take me hours to finish making a char when we get lots of choices. Then step 2 comes, finding a free name!

Yeah, sometimes I wish Blizzard would take the time and effort to give us a detailed character customization like The Elder Scrolls Online has. Not too much there, but also not too less.

Aside from that, I think WoW would need an all around overhaul. Also some new aspects to the game genre.

DA games are one of the few single player games that I really enjoyed. Man I can’t wait to play the newest one. I have to be honest though. I cheesed a lot of content with frost mage and then that op melee enchanted weapon mage in 3rd game. I remember melee mage being op there almost 1 shotting bosses.
