I think people over-thinking and overhyping this.
Many want a clompletely uniqe and free customisation, incl. building the home at any location. This will never happen, alonside the non-instanced system, that also many people demand, the limitation of the open world space, and the way phasing works, it’s silly to give even 1% chance for these to happen.
What we will have is most likely a garrison-like sytem, where there will be some fixed location for the propety, and inside it ther will be also fixed spots for the objects with limited freedom of choices. like you can set your garden on the right, or on the left side of the house, etc. And to have more than one at the same time, you will need to pay a goos sum of gold, as you do wor extra warband bank tabs.
And to have different style of house/homes for all the playable races, it’s a never coming dream.

I wouldn’t be so sure with this one.
Blizzard knows that one if the big complaints with the garrison was that you where stuck with orc/human style buildings.
Same goes for the location
Nobody gives a fok about the autism housing.

We are gonna have orcish houses in horde side. Made of dirty mud, spikes and Horns
garrisons was not an attempt at housing if you counting that as a failed attempt
I hope we are getting a couple of choice for design and architecture, not just some boring woodhouse. Would be cool to create a draenei spaceship home.
Let us watch youtube by sharing links on our Goblin made televisions at home, imagine watching wow videos in wow, listening songs, and being able to do all these with your friends on your couch with a fireplace next to you ! The game named “Tower Unite” already has this system and if wow brings this feature, it would be the first MMO bringing that to their game! Spread this idea if you liked it, make Blizzard hear it!

Housing will come around BEFORE Midnight. Watch the roadmap again. It says the symbol is somewhere in winter of 2025.
I am 99% sure they will make the housing just like SWTOR.
They`ll give you 1 or 2 free houses in stupid zones and then they will put the new cool zones into the shop. (like beach houses or whatever) Also the furniture will be in the shop 102%.

I still have a bit of game time, which I won’t use cause retail wow is beyond repair for me, they took away my levels (absolute braindead decision btw) and they added level scaling making me weaker as I level, 200IQ rpg idea from these retail devs. Anyway I’m gonna use it on the forums to make a prediction:
I’m gonna bet right now, it’s gonna be worse than Infinity Nikki, a free2play, non subscription mobile gacha game lmao, I mean the pc versions looks decades better than wow ofc but that’s not hard.
Anyway: It – wow housing, will have no gardening, very few --if any locations, very few furniture sets earn-able ingame, so almost everybody’s house looks about the same, its gon be heavily time-gated, it’s going to be instanced so cities ghost town, even more than now lmao, somehow it will be tied to another acoustic menu system full of menu’s and options that nobody cares about, somehow it’s gonna be tied to gear, raid, dungeon progress or whatever other garbage busy work they throw at you. God forbid you can have fun in this game.
I base this on past experiences with retail wow developers, they shown over and over now to have no talent, no drive and no idea on what they’re doing. I’m gonna check back at my own post, post midnight to see if I was right.
Just make a new updates for classic, approved by the community. Like OSRS.

Beware, Blizzard is not a player housing creator, Just as they werent a levelsync creator.
We have all encountered the strange uneveness during leveling that has created natural twinks at level 10-11 and level 60-64, because blizzard does not know how to levelsquish/levelsync properly, they just didn’t study the schooling properly
Now they will attempt playerhousing which is also not innate to wow, my guess is that they will be just as confused about this as level sync was.
But im curious of the outcome ofcourse.
I can see all houses looking the same in the end cuz their graphics are old.
I think they are gonna do fine. They wouldn’t push this feature if they weren’t confident they could do it well. Like Dragon-flying.
