Easy to keep clean atleast
It’s also very easy to find stuff.
I really hope they add a bookcase so you can store all the random books, letters and other lore texts you pick up currently sitting in my bags and bank.
They really did it…
Couch and pc pretty much
We can roleplay landlord and tenant
Finally!!! Finally!!!
The biggest problem with the garrison was more that it wasn’t what was promised, for example amongst other things, you were supposed to be able to choose where your garrison was.
I don’t need a house. I don’t want the illusion that I have a safe harbor to call home, where I am welcome and I am warm. I was never welcome. I choose not to be warm, so that no amounts of cold can affect me fully.
The forests, the sea, the rocky mountainsides and the skies are all I need.
Until we meet again.
Could be garrison 2 we do not know nothing yet i hope it housing because it would make a Vulp self implode reading the new’s
It won’t.
It didn’t happen in TESO and that game has a greater focus on player housing in general.
More like “this is slightly different to what i demanded. Fix now blizzard”
No, because it drains the world of players.
But I guess none of it matters anymore. The MMO is long gone.
It will be disaster.
- Among pro housing people, and i am not one of them, there are different visions of how housing should to look and be like (which is understandable). Yep, expect complaints that it’s not what they wanted.
- Every action has reaction. Housing will echo thru the game as whole in some way. That is simply unavoidable. What exactly will manifest/echo is hard to tell, but echoes will occur.
One of possible reactions might be what i mentioned earlier that less people will hangout in the cities which will make world feel emptier. But there can be all kind of reactions/manifestations.
Not just MMO, but derailed severely from rpg as well.
AD alliance players might enjoy it for their special rp
Housing was something that a lot of people wanted for 20 years. Myself included. To be fair on your concern, I have not interacted with players in open world or cities for 10 years. So not much changing in my case.
And they weren’t added for 20 years because the vanilla devs tried it 3 or 4 different ways and consistently came to the conclusion that it felt stupid.
I don’t know what they’re going to go with - a huge park where people buy property like in FF14 or an instance in the world like in Elder Scrolls Online, or just some nebulous place in the clouds you get to with a Hearthstone like in Wildstar. But what I do know is that whichever one they pick they’ll destroy the intersection of the sense of world and community - whether it’s players randomly disappearing, multiple people occupying the same space and unable see one another, or making a hideously big hidden map somewhere.
It doesn’t work in a game like this. It doesn’t in any of the others and it won’t in this one, either.
But then again, they already did dynamic sharding, so it’s pretty much all screwed up anyway.
I would be happy if it was medium-sized instanced piece of land where you select basic layout of the house, maybe some levels, and then can add items which you get. I also hope I can invite my friends in WoW to my house.
I actually like how FF14 handles this topic in terms of what you can modify and have in your house.
