Player idea: making own quest for a friend and NEED HELP!

So I’m trying to make a funny quest-line myself to try to convince a friend of mine to return to wow. [alliance btw]

The idea is that it would work like any npc quest e.g. kill 10 elementals or bring 5 feathers etc… I know that this friend of mine loves goblins and nagas, but i don’t know any really cool zones with decently levelled goblins or nagas or even any funny items to give as a reward. If you know anything, it would mean the world to me if you could help me out! If you have any cool ideas for a custom quest, let me know too.

Nagas are coming in 8.1 they say… As for goblins, I can only think of areas like Tanaris, Ratcher, Winterspring and Stranglethorn.

But those are low levelled…

Can you define ‘decently levelled’, please? I can delve into my brain & try and think of a zone or two that meet the requirements.

idk like level 50+ or any goblins with special drops or something

Swamp of Sorrows has Goblins on the Eastern beaches… Blasted Lands has Naga on the beaches north east of the Dark Portal.

Not sure about special drops, per se, but both areas have Quests that involve the relevant Races being killed, if that helps

Did you mean killable goblins or friendly goblins btw?

If you’re after killable goblins then your best bet (if not thinking of Horde goblins) would be areas with Venture Co NPCs, unless you wanna wage war on the Steamwheedle Cartel.

Venture Co. at L50 could be supported in some of Stranglethorn; trying to think where else they’re encountered.

That said, as many Classic zones now scale to 60, you may want to try ‘southern’ Stranglethorn - there’s the Naga around a temple east of Grom’gol… and a Goblin oilfield just north of it, for that matter.

Thank you! That’s already great help! Not related but - can you think of any cool toys or fun tradable rewards for completing the quest lol

Off-hand, it would mainly be pets from Raids/vendors… can’t think of any BoE toys.

killable preferably, idm what goblins. Any idea for a cool quest reward? cx

As Eighjan said I think Stranglethorn would be your best bet for Venture Co Goblins and Naga in the same zone…

Rewards? Hmm… Only toys which are BoE that I know of are the Dice* and the Orb of Deception.

You could add a requirement to collect Kaja’Cola, which can be obtained by making a goblin, getting it out of the starting area, and mailing it to his character.
