Playing Fury is killing my fingers

How can you guys play this spec!? What are your keybindings at the moment?

haha, know the feeling! After an hour or 2 of intense playing, i rly need to take a break. No dung spam for fury, that’s for sure. Gameplay is fast & fun, but killing me.
Rly putting the side buttons of my mouse under pressure.

I feel you bro, I play a lot of Arenas as a Fury War because it’s really fun, but when doing some 3v3 games I feel the intensity on my fingers after the long fights :slight_smile:

Key bindings are pretty much of preference, it all comes down to what you can click on faster without moving too much. I can give you some ideas for my bindings:

1- Charge
2- Rampage
3- Raging Blow
4- Bloodthirst
5- Execute
P.S I dont recommend going past 5 for bindings as it becomes hard to manage
Offensive Cooldown (Recklessness) = Shift + R
CD Ability (Dragon’s Roar/ Bladestorm) = R
Interrupts = E
Filler abilities (Whirlwind) = G
Furious Slash (if spec) = W
Victory Rush = `
Intimidating Shout = F4
Taunt = F1
Disarm (pvp talent) = F2
Slow (Piercing Howl) = S
Heroic Throw = A
Storm Bolt = D
Pvp Trinket = Alt + Mouse Wheel Down
All my movements are with the mouse, strafing right is Mouse 4 Button (side of the mouse in front) and strafing left is Mouse 5 Button.
Shift + Mouse 4 = auto run
Trinkets that need manual activation = X
Healthstones = Z
Defensive Cooldowns = Shift + G
Enraged Regeneration = Shift + 3

As I said it’s all a question of preference and what makes you feel more comfortable in fights. I tried different bindings and this layout seemed the best, but I’ve been playing with this for a few years so I’ve gotten used to it.

Hope it helps!

I think this is the only thread I have seen on these forums where someone is saying there are TOO MANY buttons to push :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

I’ve been playing Resto Shaman since the start of BfA and have just started on my Warrior. I have to say, Fury is great fun! I’m going to steal some of your keybinds Tzorn, you have given me some good ideas.
And if I see people on the forums complaining that they are bored coz they only have 3 buttons to hit… i’m going to point them here lol!

I have always had issues with the keyboard so I got myself a Razer Orbweaver

It is really helping me and you can bind 20 keys and duplicate that with a mouse button or the side button.

I think I can’t play without it anymore :slight_smile:

It helps, thank you. :smile:

Hi there buddy.

There is a reason for the Meme " Carpal tunnel syndrome Warrior" and I think you just discovered why :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey! Meet my new little warrior, and he is FURYous :)) haha Guys, i love the spec until now, is a blast… as an… i think main paladin, for now, having no downtime feels INSANELY GOOD, awesome even… having what to press at any time, and has a pretty easy rotation… and mobility, and impactfull hit animations… and… and… Mag har looks sick… and yeh… bloody fury warrior for me has reingited the WoW passion after i was almost done with this expansion. But the spec feels AWESOME! And i am so glad i decided to give it a shot.

Feel free to try any of these binds. Careful now as some of them will need practice before you can get comfortable in PvP or PvE situations where you need to click quickly. The fear on F4 and Disarm on F2 are what I like but I found it to be tricky to land properly at the beginning in Arenas and PvP. Especially if you have many things to active at once, for me when I do raid bosses I need to activate trinket, pre-pot, Recklessness before charging, so the X + H + Shift and R before the charge can be tricky before and might mess up

Ever tried to use macro? :smiley: Trinket, pot and ability can be macroed to 1 button.
Example:
#showtooltip Recklessness
/use 13
/use Potion of Arsekicking
/cast Recklessness

Key binding are as following, taking in account WSAD as movement
WU and WD - mouse wheel up and down, SWU SWD with Shift
https: // ibb. co/hVvFDP6 - remove spaces

You just need a good keyboard where you can bind a macro on every key that presses them every 50ms etc… Or you can use autohotkey. This will spam buttons for you.

How To Do Top DPS in WoW

The game is for people with ADHD nowadays. Cant compare it to the early days. This button spamming and fast paced gameplay is total bulls h i t. Without this kind of helper its no fun anymore

???

Question mark.

Listen we used to have like 30% more binds back in the day.
We’re already flavorless and boring as it is, don’t get them to take away MORE abilities. Good lord.

True on WOTLK i had over 20 binds (not included 1-5 or wsad)
Right now it is only 16 :smiley:

nothing binded to the mouse buttons? :thinking:

Got 23 bindings as prot warrior.

I love fury, it’s like playing Guitar Hero lol

Place half your buttons on keyboard and the other on mouse.
If you only play with one hand, you will F up your wrists :smiley:

For me I have spammy spells on 1-5 keyboard and cds on mouse.

1= bloodthirst
2= whirlwind
3= raging blow
4= rampage
5= dragon roar
6= belt shield
T = charge
E = execute
C = siegebreaker
X = recklessness
V = victory rush
Z = enraged regen
G = heroic leap
Q = healthstone/pots(macro)
F = human racial
R = whirlwind ( yes I have whirlwind binded twice)
shift + C = piercing howl
shift + E = rallying cry
shift + X = AoE Fear

I forgot the other keybinds since I’m not playing right now, but these work really well for me the way it’s set up. I always rampage right before dragon roar’ing so them being next to each other is really good.

I always have my filler on 2 because it’s an awkward button to press while moving, and if I really need whirlwind for AoE while moving I press R

switching between 1 and 3 for when bloodthirst comes off cd is really easy.

moving to rampage(4) is very easy whenever you have enough rage.

I use T for all my closing gap abilties/TP
I use G for all my dash/movement speed abilities

This works really well for me, and I’m pretty good at this spec.

Nope, binding abilities to a mousebutton has never been comfortable for me
