Playing game on laptop via game launched on PC by using something like anydesk

Not sure if this is the right forum but I try here anyway.
A friend of mine is bed ridden since many months and is not able to play his beloved game on his PC. He could start it up there but would have to go back to his bed where he can only use his laptop which is not really suitable spec wise to fully play the game. However he could do less demanding things which would keep him entertained for hours, something he so desperately needs I feel.
Now, is using something like anydesk allowed to play the game via laptop in a room next to his PC room and is it even possible if the laptop itself could not really be used to fully play the game in all its glory.
Any info on both questions would be greatly appreciated.
Have a nice weekend

Hi Feverflare,

The use of any remote desktop software to remote into a PC or other device to play our games is unsupported and may lead to issues. This is mentioned about on our terms of use under the ‘Unauthorized Connections’ and ‘Cloud Computing’ sections.

Hopefully you’ll be able to help your friend come up with another solution to their situation soon.

Projector with suitably long cable and wireless keyboard/mice or controller might be alternative to buying a more powerful laptop. Not exactly cheap either though.

this is actually a good idea, thank you, I will let him know and see what he thinks.
I am glad Skarokuffe informed me of the problems he might face if he uses something like anydesk.

If I was in said situation I would use Steam Remote Play.

Steam remote play also hits the restrictions Skarokuffe mentioned (because it is remote use).
