Hey all. I just started out playing WoW and I have a US battle net account, but I play on an EU server with my friend who lives in France. I reached level 20 and now I have to buy game time. Can I redeem a code for a time card thats for the EU region to play on the EU server with my friend? Thank you!
There’s no US battle.net account, the battle.net account is global. There are US and EU WoW accounts which are different from battle.net accounts, for example you can have multiple WoW accounts linked to a single battle.net account.
If you’re playing on EU WoW server, then you have EU WoW account and you should be able to purchase game time in a shop. Can’t you just set up a subscription with your bank card?
Time cards, I believe, are region specific. This I am sure of.
Battlenet Balance cards, I believe, are not. This I am not 100% sure of.

You can set up subscriptions and buy game time directly from the battle.net shop in other regions as well, just as you would normally.
If you for some reason specifically want to get prepaid codes from a third party retailer, you would have to make sure that they’re for the EU region, since they are indeed region specific.
