How can people play without proper keybinds?
I recently got into an argument with random player who didn’t have half of his spells binded, yet he argued how he can play top tier without keybinds. Like dude, it takes you 5s to missclick a bubble.
You can not play without keybinds, atleasts not anymore, it was doable in TBC and Wotlk arena you could get Glad/r1 while clicking half of your spells. Saw my friend play like that back in thoose days, when i was next to him, he was Merciless Gladiator BTW.
Let people play however they like.
Are there even specs left with that few abilities? I’ve had to double bind all 12 of the side buttons on my MMO mouse on top of all the other keybinds I already had, because it still wasn’t enough to quickly access everything I need.
Maybe they use a touch screen? ;D I did once set up a Wacom Cintiq 27Q as my monitor for laughs, which allowed me to press my action bars directly with my hand. But that wasn’t exactly a smooth experience for me lmao.

If people like to sit in the bottom tier without improving, sure… Let them play how they want.
I am a clicker and its possible to play well enough depending on the content you are doing.
I currently do keys around +20 and mythic raid. I can compete on dps with the rest of my raid group and usually i am in the top 6 out of 14 raid dps.
In keys i compete on damage with the guild that i play with.
It comes down to your own expectations and the expectations of the people you play with. I know i will never be doing keys like the players in the TGP or MDI but i hold my own in dps and interupts, do my best to not fail mechanics.
I disagree. This is a multiplayer game.
Taking decisions that impact other players’ gameplay negatively is selfish and inconsiderate.
How many buttons are you clicking? Is it more than half?
There’s nothing wrong with clicking if that’s their preferred playstyle and they’re having fun, but you absolutely cannot play “top tier” without proper keybinds. If the player choses not to use keybinds they also need to be realistic and accept the fact that clicking is significantly less efficient.
The game has plenty “tiers” to offer, and if you feel like people are underperforming, find a tier that’s suitable for you. No one is entitled to play the way you wanna play.
You are very observant. I guess, if there’s more than 1 person around, you’ll have no problems finding someone who plays the way you prefer, right?
Damn, to do you need so good mouse mechanics. Respect to this guy. He must be a RTS player or something
idk, I only recently started using keybinding…
literally 1 key, for my dragon riding ‘go faster’ button!!LOL
I dont play mythic though but I think some classes would find it easier then others. I dont think it would be as important for us hunters for example.
But if I use the keyboard I gotta put my cuppa tea down.
my hunter says otherwise
on a serious note.
tbh theres quite a few speccs u could defintly play with very few keybinds.
Yes i click everything other than interupts/stuns.
It drives my guildies insane when i stream but as i still do decent dps they accept it
I could in NO way be a top tier player tho, i think maybe 22-24 keys will be my limit. I dont think the mythic raid is particularly hard though. Currently 3/9 working on the 4th.
I was a clicker for the longest time after starting the game.
Keybinding is objectively better. You react quicker and your attention is where it needs to be. Anyone that says otherwise is wrong (bold statement!).
Having said that, I think it is possible to play to an “acceptable” level clicking. You’d just be better binding.
You’re the opposite to me when I’m drinking my movement stops and my spells continue. So any fire or change of direction takes me a few seconds longer to react
