Playing WoW on laptop with touchscreen

I have a laptop with a touchscreen (not to be confused with touchpad, although it also has a touchpad).

Is it possible to use its touchscreen? Normally Windows reacts to touching the screen (that corresponds to clicking with the mouse).

Neither the world (my character and its surroundings) nor the User Interface reacts to touching the screen, but it does react to my touchpad and pressing keys.

Can the settings be changed so that WoW reacts to touching the screen?

Same issue with Asus ROG Ally, Steam Deck so seems to be on any device. Hope there will be a fix soon.

The touchscreen is now working. I have tested the User Interface and it reacts to tapping on the buttons. The latest patch enabled it. The previous patches didn’t seem to support this.

At least, it works for my Lenovo Yoga 9 (16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD).

There are other things that I have to test, and are not clear to me yet.

For example the touchscreen variant of rightclicking (for example selling items to the vendor, or equipping the item to you character from inventory, if you are elligible for it), and holding two mouse buttons at the same time (that will steer your character, and is finer than pressing keys), and so on.

I have the following question: Who can help me with using the touchscreen (since it is working right now);
