Playing WoW while character transfer is in progress

I’m in the middle of my guild transfers and several other characters to another realm+faction. This article https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/34787 states that

This service takes up to 24 hours to complete. If you log in before it completes, the transfer may fail and your character may be locked.

Does that mean I can’t log in to WoW at all next 72 hours, or I’m still able to play other characters without fear to fail ongoing transfer process and get those characters locked?

Sry if that was already answered, didn’t find any up to date information about it =/

You should not logon the characters you’re transferring within that 24 hour window, but you can login to your other toons that are not being transferred and play on those instead.

Usually the character transfer is processed fast so you may play sooner then you think!
