Showing my friend the game recently, he’s picked Night Elf Druid, he’s overjoyed and excited by just about everything we come across, and you’re dropped in BFA when you start mind you. He finds all the lore he’s learning fascinating, he’s constantly changing druid forms just to look at them. He genuinely wants to experience everything too, he’s been doing EVERY side quest. I told him he doesn’t have to, still does them. Haven’t even left Tirigarde Sound cause he’s just doing side quests. Seeing him enjoy every moment of the game makes me feel really happy, it’s like when I first started out. 10/10 would reccomend playing the game with someone new. Special experience.
To this day I still want to do every side quest on my main in new expansion but it sounds like a complete joy experiencing it through your friend.
Some just want to get to end game and it’s really refreshing to find someone who just wants to see it all.
Shame he’s plonked into BFA.
He doesn’t have to do BfA. You can do chromie time now. They just didn’t do a great job advertising that…
Oh did they change that?
I thought new players were still forced into BFA, my brother tried recently and hated it so he went and played Classic and hes been there since.
Nope. Think you have to still finish the intro but then you can bob off to Chromie.
I started playing WoW right at the beginning of BfA and that was my experience too. I was just in awe of this huge world and all of the story and lore within it, and I still get that feeling from time to time. I’m glad your friend is now experiencing that.
Still better than Shadowlands or Dragonflight lol
After BFA he goes to Shadowlands and then to Dragonflight.
BFA was absolutely incredible to explore, there is something to find everywhere.
Compare those zones to the original zones and they are universes apart, old world is practically barren in comparison
Why? BFA has gorgeous zones, Boralus still holds up
