As are we all
Be a boring forum if everyone agreed tbh.

Yawn.
I’m not triggered, I’m disagreeing with you.
There are plenty of games that cater to you. Go play them.
And I guess your 'triggered reply shows why you don’t play with others huh.
The only thing that is a PuG to me is an actual group you apply to and have to be chosen for by a leader.
I did actually presume this was the global meaning of the term tbh. Now I’m curious.
Why not.
A story difficulty on raids n dungeons where it just you and npc’s going through them on easy mode with quest level rewards.
Easy to implement. Doesn’t take away anything from anyone.
The thing is i wasnt talking about people like that although we have them allot nowadays in the game.
Honestly i don’t see anything wrong with that because if someone actually wants to learn then he should then when he aquires the knowledge he’s not gonna be a burden to others if more people thought each other this would be a much better place.
Pretty much. Unless you find a friendly guild or community the playerbase treats others as if they were AIs already. So adding actual AIs wouldn’t really change much, that toothpaste left the tube many years ago.
Pugging would still exist for M+ as having AIs for that wouldn’t make much sense. I’d limit AIs to Normal and Heroic dungeons and LFR level for raids.
This suggestion wouldn’t change the game that much, a few more people would see a bit more of the game a bit sooner.
It might even encourage a few more people to try tanking or healing in a non-toxic environment and give them the confidence to move up to Mythic/+ dungeons.
What are those requirements? I’m seriously asking, last time I looked for a guild they recruited me with my 4/10M progrees (while the guild had 9/10) and I’m there since that.
I knew another guild which does casual mythic raiding, and the only requirements there are to perform decently, pay some tax and do 4 m+ every week during the first few weeks of a tier.
This is how I feel most of the time for years.
Ah that Is if you are striving for a more competitive guild.
I was talking more that it’s hard to find nowadays anyone who you know does it for fun of the game and community.
Like finishing up to heroic raid and up to +10 key without requiring you to make the game a second job that you must do this and that to stay for example if you wanna be a casual social member.
It depends in what content are you hopping, you can’t expect people to type down everything in time content like M+, you live by failing and trying again.
Last week we joined a 16 of a 190/200 ilvl person, and he did not know you could send pet to pull in tirna, first time he was not even talented. 2 people left the key and me and my friend actually stayed and offered to help the guy do the 15, we make him swap talent and tried to explain both before and during the instance what to do with the pet.
Sadly he was not able to pull it off and we had to just keep going without that.
Not a deal breaker, just saying that explanations like those cost time in M+ and unless you are in vocal it’s really something you can’t afford.
That’s understandable and i agree this is the kind of players everyone should strive to be honestly.
To be honest, I avoid playing with others (like in the same team) because most of the time they expect you to be like a semi pro.
I got flamed and made fun of plenty of times because my iLevel isn’t high enough or I don’t use the the right trinket.
I have a full time job and a family and throughout the week I can barely squeeze 1 and a half hour to play WoW daily and I don’t want to spend that time being flamed by no life high school students.
Because of that, I prefer to only play against other players (like in PVP) because that way I don’t have to cooperate with them all the time. (at least with half the players you don’t in PVP)
So, yeah… the more solo content you can do, the better. I actually wish we had 1v1 PVP ranked. That would be great.
I enjoy the multiplayer aspect of a game in the sense that I enjoy the competition rather than the cooperation.
Dejarous, not Marsultor wrote “losing players like you is fine.”
Marsultor was likely calling Dejarous toxic and not you.
AI buddies as an option, yes please.
The idea is fine and the reasoning is completely fine, but they likely won’t do anything because it will take effort and they don’t want to spend any effort now. They are saving hard on that, just copying things that already existed in the game with minor modifications over and over.
There is an alternative approach though: allow yourself to do stuff that can be auto-queued for and treat other people like NPCs. The latter is completely fine and how people behave in PUGs anyway, just in case. This is not about any negative connotations like “this is not a human”, this is about accepting that NPCs can be imperfect and expecting all kinds of failures. So, you autoqueue, you do your part to the best of your ability, you don’t really speak to anyone, you don’t yell at them, you don’t let them yell at you either (if they do, pretend they are NPCs and laugh a little at the AI being smart enough to speak), etc. This works.
Thanks, and honestly that is why I think being honest upfront is important. People will help you, just let them now and don’t be sublte about it.
ILVL Means nothing show em the facts.
Also trinkets are not easy to acquire, I would like Soulletting ruby but welp though luck, I play with what I have and I am doing 18s.
You can play most of the content in a casual and personal way and still be fine, don’t let em convince you otherwise.
Like i am doing. We just killed fatescribe this week on heroic. 8/10 Not so difficult group to find actually.
And we are all parsing greys. But who cares.
Your forte is being abrasive and rude without having a clue. It’s hilarious that you are calling that “putting things bluntly”.
What’s your argument? That it’s “MMO”? It remains an MMO after they do what the OP asks for. And since you are talking about who they should and should not be catering for, what gives you the idea that your opinion on that is right and catering to people who prefer little to no groups is a no-no, and the game should be catering to people who prefer groups? Huh? Things evolve. Genres morph. It has been shown in spades that people who prefer little to no groups are a vast majority. By uttering your nonsense “losing players like you is fine” all you are saying is that you are fine with the game restricting its audience to a disappearing small niche, and then disappearing itself as a result.
But pearls before swines, obviously. Make your regular “reply” post with a couple of icons or whatever. ))
IIRC, we had something like that in Legion and BfA (and to a degree SL) - they were called ‘scenarios’ - you could almost semi-AFK them with the odd auto-attack here and there
That is my policy too on things in general but sometimes i believe ppl are subtle and hide it because they come across bad guys more often then not.
If you are so anti social, then grouping up could be your first step to overcome it.
