Playing wow with two accounts

Hi , my brother and i have the same pc and internet but we want to play on wow on our separate accounts , there isnt any problems in doing this right? like getting ban for some unknown reason right?

There is absolutely no problem with that.

I have two accounts, one used only by me, and the other used mainly by my daughter. Sometimes we play alone, sometimes together. If together it’s on a PC and a laptop, if alone, sometimes we separately use the same PC. Always on the same internet. Definitely no problem.

does it let you login into same battle.net account on two pc ? because for me if i login into one the other one dc .

You can play multiple accounts at once even if they are in your name

I have two game accounts linked to one battlenet account, so it only lets you log in one at a time, then disconnects the first when the second logs in (the battlenet account, not the game account or game).

So I fire up the game as normal on my PC. My daughter logs in on the laptop and goes into the game. The game doesn’t disconnect on the PC, but you get a message in battlenet saying it’s offline due to another login and do I want to reconnect. If I say reconnect, the same happens on the laptop, but it makes no difference to the game, both the PC and the laptop are logged into the game, it’s only the battlenet launcher that goes offline on one of them.

Sorry, it’s hard to explain clearly without waffling.

You go into the retail folder and launch from there, but you must have more than one sub account for them to both be open ( a wow account can hold 8)

You need to make two different battlenet accounts because they need to be in the name of the person who is playing, unless it is setup for a minor.

Internet cafes exist.

For myself, I set it up as one battlenet account as I’m the adult (kinda), there was only me playing at the time, and I just wanted to solo old raids without having to find someone to party up with to get in. Then later, as my kids became teens, they wanted to have a go and play.

I can only see in the ToS that kids under 13 can’t utilise an account, and for under 18 they need their parent or guardian to agree the ToS and be liable for them. I’m no expert though and may well be missing something.

Depends on where u live, never had one here at least. Didnt even know they were still a thing tbh

Very high risk of malware in internet cafes. Be careful.

My point being multiple people playing off the same connection.

Ah i see! Im still tired :joy:

There has been a minor change in rules.

But there’s no problem with 2 seperate BNET accounts playing on the same PC/Internet.

If you’re both minors you’ll need your own BNET accounts supervised by your parent/guardian ofcourse. Because it is no longer possible to split licenses or move characters due Warband this is the current recommended action.

Happy feast of Winterveil!

No there is nothing wrong as long as your not using third party software

I play 2-4 wow versions on one account

Use battle.net launcher and open one then exit the launcher click the wow 2 and that will work then close launcher then open then open wow 3 etc etc etc

If it’s two separate people on the same battlenet, even with different WoW licenses, and one isn’t a minor, then yes it is against the ToS.
