Plea for not rushing TBC content

Back in TBC we did loads of hilarious and fun stuff such as raiding Alliance towns, blocking off instances forcing incoming raids to fight their way inside, we all had about 3 alts that we levelled together enjoying world pvp, we farmed gear on our mains ofc but that was just one aspect of it all

Back in TBC most of us were kids, teenagers, young adults with a tonne of free time and little to no experience in MMO’s and during a time where social interaction online in gaming was still a novelty. I was about 20 years old when TBC launched, add 15 years of MMO experience and a world where social interaction online is no longer a novelty at all, and those “dumb hilarious” things we did when we were 20 are probably not so fun or interesting anymore.

And like most people I have way less free time now, I have to use it wisely. Of course we play different, we get the chores out of the way quickly so we can do what we came for, which for me is to re-live the raiding experience and enjoy playing/gearing a Warrior in TBC content.

It’s not 2007 and we’re not who we were back then, of course we approach the game different, and part of that is the necessity to make it work around our lives in a time effective way. So yes we raid log, and yes we churn through content quickly but nobody is forcing you to play at the same pace, Magtheridon will still be there for you to farm in the next 2 years.

In its post-nerf state so not quite the same experience is it so yes if i want it on real difficulty i would be force to play at your pace.
