You can’t wait for everyone. Most tanks and healers already ignore HC as there is no point in doing them and if really needed they can do them in guild. At some point P2 will be released and some will be “ready” while some will be not.
The trouble is not the lack of content, it’s the lack of creativity of the new batch of wow players, they literally play wow like robots. Feed them content - consume content - more content please. Back in TBC we did loads of hilarious and fun stuff such as raiding Alliance towns, blocking off instances forcing incoming raids to fight their way inside, we all had about 3 alts that we levelled together enjoying world pvp, we farmed gear on our mains ofc but that was just one aspect of it all. We even all dressed up as farmers and joined AB as a premade and as the BG started we all spread out at the farm tilling the land, the Alliance literally stopped dead in their tracks thinking wtf is going on here.
My point is there is way more to the game than burning through the dungeons, it’s just that gamers today seem to lack any creativity and thats on them, not the rest of us so why should we be punished? I would love the TBC content to last a good 3 years before WOTLK comes along and ruins wow (again). Let the kids go back to retail, leave TBC going slowly for the rest of us please.

They have to port stuff into the newer client and are simply too slow to do it in a pace to accommodate for the regular release schedule

Whatever we discuss, P2 will land end august, just to have something on calendar around New World release.
With my tinfold hat, i’m not sure why P1 was rushed, but i’m sure it was a bad reason (counter ESO extension release? don’t canibalize retail? sell more boost?).
2 weeks pre-patch was a bad joke, game state was a bad joke.
I hope P2 will be in better release state than P1.

Back in TBC most of us were kids, teenagers, young adults with a tonne of free time and little to no experience in MMO’s and during a time where social interaction online in gaming was still a novelty. I was about 20 years old when TBC launched, add 15 years of MMO experience and a world where social interaction online is no longer a novelty at all, and those “dumb hilarious” things we did when we were 20 are probably not so fun or interesting anymore.
And like most people I have way less free time now, I have to use it wisely. Of course we play different, we get the chores out of the way quickly so we can do what we came for, which for me is to re-live the raiding experience and enjoy playing/gearing a Warrior in TBC content.
It’s not 2007 and we’re not who we were back then, of course we approach the game different, and part of that is the necessity to make it work around our lives in a time effective way. So yes we raid log, and yes we churn through content quickly but nobody is forcing you to play at the same pace, Magtheridon will still be there for you to farm in the next 2 years.
So, you’re unable to do this as soon as two more raids come out?

But in this case, if you’re still doing the karazhan attunement… are we also meant to wait for the SSC/Tempest Keep attunements as well?
The average casual player SHOULDN’T be ready to storm in the next phase fully BiS geared.

yes and TBC server never survive past season 2 while classic servers often go full cycle.
No blue post say when season 2 will start, you are just guessing.
