Plea from Turkish Community

You mean Wow is not haram ?

Uh, yes it is.

It depicts females faces in public, it depicts paintings with faces, and it promotes false gods, it’s extreme Haram.

Yes, my friend. Turkey’s version of the story is the one that’s right and (almost) the entire world is wrong. The whole world is obviously plotting against Turkey because, you know, reasons! People in the West wake up every day and all they do is think about ways to undermine Turkey who has been nothing but peaceful and just through the ages!!!

It fascinates me how you won’t even consider the possibility that YOU are the ones who have been taught an… alternative version of actual history. It’s very interesting indeed.

Get your facts straight, is my advice. Acknowledge your mistakes and move on. Or don’t and pay the price - it’s your choice.

Yes, there is! A big one, too! They acknowledge their sins and you don’t. Every country has had its bad moments but yours had oh so many of them throughout history. But you know what? That’s okay. What’s not okay is that you continue down the same path to this day and refuse to take responsibility for what you’ve done wrong in the past.

You must be joking!

Racism = judging someone based on skin colour (They have no idea what race the Turkish player is)
xenophobic = Discriminating on someone because they are from a certain region.

If you’re going to call people racist etc at least get the terms right?

Either delusional or purposely being malicious. We must obviously be ‘‘joking’’ afterall if we try to defend our history againts altered accusations.Thinking their history books are the only true source of history, yet history is not black and white as they like to paint and there is a Turkish side to the story, but likes of you would never be willing to listen to it, because that wouldn’t suit to your biased views.

It’s like talking to a brick, I am done here.

Ah, it is unfortunate that you didn’t know me while you were here, then your opinion could’ve change :stuck_out_tongue:

I have alot of friends from different countries on EU. Crotia, Hungary, Denmark, Germany, France, England, Ireland, Macedonia, Finland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Russia, Norway, Belguim. It depends on the individual that you interact with. I have 1 Turkish friend as a Turkish player lol.

The reason is, if you are a kind guy around here then you are a loser. No grills for you, no respect for you. So this is the reason behind it. You either adjust yourself to this or you are nothing :stuck_out_tongue: It can’t be helped.

I hear that Steam has recently implemented a solution to VPN related frauds that involved buying games with Venezuela IPs

There is always a solution, people are just trying to find excuses.

Like your Turkish playerbase?
Don’t have enough money for wow? Work more

Yess, nice advice

Have you got that the right way around ?

Surely a player getting 160 hours of play out of a months sub is getting more value that someone that only gets 40 hours.

Delusional? Biased? Are you sure you’re talking to a brick and not a mirror?

History is pretty much black and white. There aren’t “ours” and “theirs” history books - history is just history in the advanced world. It is the science of recording FACTS and not the (often) biased stories of involved parties. I (and others) very well know the Turkish side of the “story” but that’s widely irrelevant. A story isn’t the same as history and you would do yourself a favor if you use the latter as your source of knowledge. Actual historical evidence about almost every single event in history is available online these days but what you choose to believe is obviously up to you. If you choose to believe everything that doesn’t fit your narrative is a lie because there’s some twisted global plot to undermine Turkish history, there’s your problem right there.

But facts are facts. Period. End of discussion.

And yes, it is funny you are talking about “altered” accusations when it is you that has been taught an “altered” version of history. Whether your realize it or not, It is your word against almost everybody else’s in this world.

What’s sad is you don’t understand the path to becoming a modern nation goes through you taking ownership of your mistakes. Nobody will ever respect you if you don’t.

No i have not.
Its all based upon how someone experiences this game…

Because its all based upon your ‘‘idea’’ of value, as the topic starter stated that the perceived value for his higher costs vs the cost in the UK (in comparison to wages) is lower.

But you cant simply say:
The perceived value is less because our subscription costs more and is therefore lower than in other countries.

Perceived value is based upon the notion of each individual. (and therefore a personal thing)
I might think, i get my value out of this game when i pay 13 euros and play 2 hours a week since it gives some relief after a stressful workweek.

Others might rate that value based on cost and playtime at atleast 8 hours a week and think the value is around that spot.

Or even base their value around other metrics, not even considering the 13 euros, and therefor their ‘‘perceived’’ value differs a lot aswell.

If you were so sure about that like your politicians then you would accept Turkey’s proposal to open up ottoman archives for that topic. But you guys didn’t want to face it because you do not care if it is true or false. You guys just want to show Turkey bad in humanity.

Umm yeah OK,

But what does all that have to do with the question ?

Player A pays £15 a month and plays for 160 hours, pays less than £1 per hour.

Player B pays the same and plays for 40 hours, pays over £2 per hour.

Who’s getting the best value ?

It answers your question.

And hours played, still dont tell the whole story in terms of value.
And the topic starter was saying the sub prices need to be changed to be more in line with wages in his country and in that way, the “perceived” value of the sub goes up.

But everyone has a different notion of value and that argument doesnt hold in this discussion.

So simple hours played vs price paid doesnt help in the argument to lower sub prices based on income.

Based on that should Luxembourg be charged a higher subscription price because they have one of, if not the highest, minimum wage in Europe at around 11.64€ per hour?

Tbh, Steam actually does that. Looked at some youtube video, and for some games the range was shocking - from 5% to 200%(actually the price doens’t come from Steam, but from the game publishers)

But you can’t gift the games people outside of Turkey, they’re country locked.

The issue here is OP wants to play on the EU servers but pay less than the EU sub fee.
