As above. i cant be the only one finding the WSG grind an absolute mind numbing ball ache, youve allowed Lumber to be used all the way to exhalted with AB yet WSG theres nothing. it just doesnt show any logic whatsoever.

I would say it’s ok but theres one big problem:
People already did reputation for WSG in phase1 and it wasn’t fast and even fun maybe. It’s not fair to give easy way to get it now.
And also… revered is already a joke. Ashenvale still gives 1k every week… cmon, if you want bis bracers - you should deserve it.
1k every week to exalted means 21 weeks.
And no one cares about people who stomped pugs in premades in p1. Playing onesided games vs WoE shamans and horde priests is not exciting, you know.

I am almost exalted and I genuinely don’t care. I want to reroll alts and not be stuck with farming that broken bg again

Would be alot better to have a account shared rep. Then you could actually get items for your alts without the insane grind. Usually only for the sweatlords

I understand the frustration, but WSG always was and always will be most sh1ttiest experience in WoW of all times. Reputation itself and the process of playing WSG also. The fact you having revered for free is a god bless so If you don’t like WSG - you don’t play WSG, you shouldn’t have rewards from it for free.
It’s only phase2, phase3,4,5,6 in the future, the exalted WSG reputation in classic wow wasn’t the 25 lvl experience nor 40 lvl experience, so why you telling us like the game is ended already. You farming it and you get it one day, on lvl 25, or 40, or 50, or 60, you want a shortcut for high-end content for some reason, like “I don’t want to farm X, give me X now”, cmon.
99,9999% players of phase2 will never get the mount from Thermaplugg, most of the players will never see it drops, so lets give the mount for everyone in phase3 to make it useless completely. What is the point of 100% of players having WSG bracers without any effort? It means this bracers gonna be default for every player and all who have it already by long tedious farm gonna be feel like they wasted hundred hours for nothing, because right now it gives them and extra small stat boost. Why you always think about yourself and not thinking about other ppl?

A wall of text of obvious things. You will always have pve players leeching rep on bgs while they have a cd for raid till next reset. This is why on retail for pvp every slot is a pvp item.
This has nothing to do with balance issues. SM geared fresh 40 ench shaman with WoE can still destroy everybody on bg.
it just makes absolutely zero sense to allow lumber to be bought for AB rep from a world PVP event in STV yet not the same for WSG rep for those that wish to catch up.
thing is i don’t mind the PvP grind. just not WSG its literally disheartening. its not like the STV event would break the game either. ive got my STV bits and i just dont need to play STV. at least if they added it more people would most likely do it.

Most people do not want to PvP at all. They do PvP because there are BiS rewards behind it due to mistakes in early WoW development.

Because wow is a PvE game? You enjoy a weird little minigame where you kill other players in a PvE game. Yeah it would be nice if PvP used strictly PvP rewards and vice versa, but sadly “classic” wow has this unfortunate thing where there’s PvE bis behind PvP and PvP bis in raid drops. I don’t think many people like it from either side.
And before you say it, I grinded (ground?) my wsg exalted in p1, mind numbingly awfull experience that it was. I still don’t think others should be subject to that game development excrement that is WSG, so I am all for BOTH ashenvale giving full rep to exalted AND WSG having it’s own lumber hand-in quest.

Because WoW is largely a PvE game. You are supposed to PvE here.
PvP is not an equal counterpart to PvE.
tell that to the people who pvp 18 hours a day and never touch pve, also tell that to all the arena players in retail who never stepped foot in a dungeon

just because you are a guy with no competetive bone in his body shouldnt make the pvp rewards easier for you, and im pretty sure its more pvpers in this game then pvers
