I have been asking for this for a while now, and I know they rarely go back to old content. But I would love it if we can be able to tame more cloud serpent colors.
- Currently there are only a few colors to tame, and majority of them have lightning mogu effects, which doesn’t help in Roleplay. The few ones we can tame that doesn’t have the lightning effects is the red cloud serpent, and black cloud serpent.
I also want to add that yes, we can use the eye of N’zoth toy to tame ivory (pink) cloud serpent, but that requires a long PVP focused quest, that not everyone can do if they aren’t pvp players. Especially since it’s focused on BFA content which rarely anyone visits.
Plus the quest is bugged and Doesn’t work.
A good way to fix this is to simply make the ivory cloud serpent neutral, so hunters can tame it. I don’t know if there is a way to make it tamable without being attackable, but something like that would be great.
Another fix could be to add some golden, Jade, and azure cloud serpents somewhere in pandaria that Can be tamable.
It’s a shame the most famous colors for cloud serpents aren’t even tamable.
Why is this important?
I have done the cloud serpent quest a along time ago, and became exalted with the order of the cloud serpent. I fell In love with the lore! It’s amazing and I loved taking care of my cloud serpent and eventually it grew up and became my mount. Loved the storyline. I mean everything in Pandaria is amazing, but this particular questline is something else. I love it.
It would help in Roleplay, pandaren hunters, dragon lovers, and hunters in general.
I feel like now is the best time to do this given it’s a expansion about dragons, going back to pandaria and adding a few more cloud serpent colors to tame wouldn’t hurt, right?
