hello … i am a casual player … i like to do old dungeons and raids all day … like 5 to 8 h a day… can someone explain me why i cant send soulbound items to my alts… what does blizzard lose if they let us send those cloth items from my hunter to my priest … why is this not posible … why i cant have fun … why those blizzard make me unsub ?? PLEASE BLIZZARD LET US HAVE FUN

To be honest they should just remove the concept of soul bound items entirely from gear.
Why is a random sword I picked up from a boss bound to me? Shouldn’t it be locked to the Boss in that case?

At least make all mog items farmable on any class. Like plate can farm leather mogs in “solo old” Raids/dungeon.

Not if the soulbound item is from legacy content - for example, why cant i shove any drops from ICC onto the AH?? that stuff is totally irrelevant to the craftting market in SL or indeed DF when it goes live??
It would make legacy content even more pointless…
As people would just buy tokens then buy the transmogs they want off a heavily clogged up market at dead cheap… as all value would be lost. Rather than farming them themselves.
Good deal for blizzard token sales etc…
Bad deal for the player in the long run.
Because fu, thats why, the kind of reason we would have for so many player friction reasons in this game and the mantra of wasting player time = more subs is yet to be proven its gonna go away with the release of DF.
But on topic - I agree and if they can change the text of at least 2/3 of items saying “soulbound” replacing it with “blizzard account bound”, it will significantly improve the game at a single stroke. Its even worse - some older raids literally got the trash drops as soulbound items (I think ToD was one of them) because, you know, if you get a leather drop on your paladin, you didnt really earn the item. 
At least make it unlock the transmog account wide.
Running legacy dungeons and seeing all the cool drops for alts dropping which you never got when you were running it with the other alt is annoying.
But no, that would cut into blizzards metrics

Only if they meant current soul bound items.
If items from past expansions would be BoE instead of soul bound you could create an entire new market.

That would shorten the time we play by 10× or so which would result is less € for blizzard… so it will probarbly never happen
Well they could make old drops account bound not soulbound, however i will say i domt personally know if rewriting that much spaghetti code comtinously to go back and change all the items continously would be a good idea.
They get the same money from subs regardless how much we play, and prolly generate more token sales when people buy transmogs they want instead of farming them
Not really because were we would be at a place for 6 months to farm we then might be only there for 3 months… which would result in only paying for 3 months sub instead of 6
Mage done sunwell 1 time and gets legendary bow
2 hunter and 1 warrior does sunwell 300+ times and gets nothing

It’s would water down all tmogs ect. Loot would be just too much.
