Please bring back Shadow

Never posted a balance related post on forums before, but i just have to now. We all know Shadow got nerfed to the ground, but no changes ever since is beyond my understanding.

Picking Shadow is like scraping the bottom of a barrel in terms of basically everything, do we have good AoE?

• When picking the right talents, it’s okay, but nowhere close to good.

Do we have good or even normal single target damage?

• Unless your damage meter takes your whole screen, you won’t find us in it. Basically we’re in everywones shadow ST wise.

Do we have burst potential?

• What does burst even mean?

Well but Capriestsun, if we don’t have singetarget damage. And no AoE or cleave to make up for it and literally no burst potential, groups will still take us for utility right?

• Just pray to god the group doesn’t already have a priest in it and link the 10% stamina buff, that’s your best shot.

So basically this sums up my Shadow experience, even though blizzard makes it hard to like the spec in it’s current state, i tend to not look on damage meter and feel just fine

Pretty much sums up my experience as Shadow so far I just got into Priest, and this is going to be the last class before I have all classes at max lvl. While I will continue to play my Priest because I like the fantasy behind it, I feel that it is extremely sub-par in terms of dmg…

Atm I’m only lvl 118, but I definitely feel the difference between it and the 8+ other classes I have leveled to 120 the last few months…

As Shadow:

• I struggle to stay alive against basic mobs and keep getting forced to use major defensive CDs just to survive. With ALL OTHER CLASSES staying alive wasn’t this hard… In general not being able to handle 3 basic mobs without using CDs is silly!

• If I attack just 1 mob, it takes 3 times as long to kill than most other class.

• I have terrible AoE dmg as well, and am forced to not pull more than 2 mobs… 3 if I have my major defensive CDs ready -_-

So all in all… Shadow sucks at both ST and AoE dmg for me atm. Hope it atleast becomes mid-tier with better azerite traits…

i dont give much hopes to shadow priests anymore. Ion Hazzikostas hates shadow priests. He wants spriest go even deeper. Back to neandertals who threw some rocks for fight… Maybe smaller like sand because rocks hurt, spriest prevented to do damage.
