I don’t see how raid gear is “free” if it takes 3 months to drop an item and you also need to be lucky to get a good roll vs the competition in the raid itself? Killing a boss doesn’t guarantee you an item.

It sounds as ridiculous as saying that pvp gear is free, once you reach rating it’s free. No effort needed at all, just get the rating… once you get the rating, you are guaranteed to get the item. So it seems that pvp gear is even more free than pve one

Spinning a roulette for free is considered free.

The amount of work and skill needed for such ratings is immensely harder than in pve. Thats what this topic is all about. Try to keep up…

What skill? This discussion is endless and no one has a solid proof that pvp players are better at the game than pve ones (or vica versa). You can’t compare these 2 groups because people do different content. So this is not an argument to gimp one part of the game.

Ofc we all know that pvp players are much more skilled and are the gigachads of this game. And yet your gear is basically free, once you reach rating - you are free to buy it. But even the best 99.9% parse raider might not get his weapon in full tier, because item might not drop at all, or he will roll super low on it.

Playong and winning in cazino is not the free and easy as you might think, then everyone would be a millionaire.

The most retarded thing Ive heard in a while XD okay bro you go fight those 15 year old scripted mechanics like your life depends on it and ill show myself out of this damn conversation XD kekLoser

Oh yes, personal insults begin, once out of arguments  a true pvp masterclass.

I never said that naxx25 is hard (it’s a raid with 18 target dummies). I refer more to the retail raids and m+ when talking about the serious pve content. And if you’ve read what I wrote above - most of casual playerbase doesn’t like hard content. This is why wrath was super popular back in a day, and that’s why wow was in a steady decline since cata - much much harder pve content.

Also if this PvE is so easy and scripted - why even the very best wow players (who are also top pvp players) needs several hundred wipes to get a first kill / a month to clear a raid? It’s scripted and easy and predictable, and surely these top players learned how to play wow in pvp environment.

Y sure, ocassional pvp is fun and all, but wow is a pve game. There is no interesting pvp content in this game. Want a proof? Just look how many dungeons/raids/world content were realeased over the years, and how many new arenas/BGs were made. Numbers difference are stagering and heavily favours pve side.

I used to play hardcore open world mmorpg pvp game before wow, and I can safely say that this game focus is not pvp by a long shot. So should Blizzard really destroy a raid now? You tell me.

I hate having less chance to get my loot to parse because my guild is not enough strong to do HM

Because PvP players need to suffer for their sins.

There’s one thing that’s remained consistent throughout the entire lifespan of this game. No matter what gets added or how many things get changed, PVP players will always be the most toxic, entitled little crybabies in the game.

Blizzard acts like PvP doesnt exist and you wanna tell me that pvp players are entitled?

I assume you never watched a race to world first.
Mechanics they learn in like 10 pulls. They are wiping due to super tight dps checks. Or they spam wipe cause over tuned/overlapping mechanics making it impossible.

You dont see the changes on encounters when world first guilds are attempting them. They just change them on the fly and informs the guilds currently on the boss.

Also good joke comparing doing naxx 25 to reaching 2k currently.

Also many pve pieces are bis in pvp. There is only a few pvp relic slots that are considered bis in pve. Ret paladin being one.

I dont want them to increase difficulty in raids. I rather want them to reduce rating req for pvp items.

Having played this game from start to finish…

Yes. Pvp players are without doubt the most toxic, entitled little crybabies I’ve ever encountered.

Could you explain why? Because i rly dont understand how a community that gets ignored since vanilla (or at best treated like a 2nd class customer) can be considered entitled.

PvPers are forced to PvE in 9/10 expansions if they wanna stay competitive, now imagine the drama on forums if PvE players have to reach a certain amount of rating to progress in PvE. Lucky for you that will never happen, so you dont even have to imagine it.

That’s not really true, best 99.9% parsers make “mirrors” - a copy of a character - they use it for split raids and if the mirror is more lucky, it replaces “main”.

they are appealing to the masses - the vast majority of players have no interest whatsoever in competitive PvP on Classic Servers - go retail - that’s where PvP is at
