Bug Trio and Viscidus are painfully unfun, just spamming Cleanse nonstop with no room to use any other abilities because of the sheer amount of poison going out to the raid. Yes I know restorative potions and abolish poison exist but if you happen to be in a pug without a resto druid or a casual guild who don’t bring consumables then chances are you’re going to be put on cleansebot duty as a paladin. Having done this raid as an enhancement shaman back in vanilla classic, it’s wild how overpowered poison cleansing totem is by comparison. PLEASE can Paladins get a small buff to make these fights less awful? Here are some suggestions:
- Inspiration Exemplar now dispels diseases and poisons as well as fear - while we have to use a leg rune slot for this, I can see that it might seem OP compared to shamans needing to drop 3 different totems to get the same effect, but I think it’d be ok on balance
- Hallowed Ground consecrations now also dispel diseases and poisons - I like this a little better because it adds more value to an arguably underpowered and underutilised rune and also creates an interesting choice between personal damage (Divine Storm) and group utility
There would be other ways around this obviously, just wanted to ask for some way to improve this, spamming cleanse 80 times is not fun and I’m honestly gritting my teeth at the thought of doing these encounters this phase unless we get some help
