Please Change Blackrock Eruption

Searing Gorge is one of the best leveling zones from mid-late 40s. However, the Blackrock Eruption event makes playing that zone for 1 hour EVERY 2 hours almost impossible.

Insane damage from meteors, mobs 5-10 levels above the actual zone requirement.

Either fix the event and make the mobs neutral so they don’t instantly aggro anyone daring not to pay 500g+ per hour to be boosted from invasions or remove it altogether.

To no offense but there are two other ways instead of getting boosted. You can either do Invasions if you’re on Wild Growth Alliance will have easier time partying but Ashenvale one can put you on level 48 with about 2-3 days depending on whether or not you can handle elites (you can kite the dragon the the new starting point and have NPCs kill it). You can also change Zone. Pretty sure Tanaris and Un’Goro crater would work. Probably Feralas or Hinterlands as well.

I know mate, I have every character apart from 1 at max level and T2/T3.

My issue is, it ruins an important levelling zone for 50% of the time. It’s stupid and a terrible idea. All they have to do is let you opt out which would make the mobs neutral. They offered an opt out for Blood Moon, and not this. It’s stupid and a huge oversight.

It’s not so important in sod, you can level (even traditional way, without incursions/invasions) skipping 70% of zones because of huge levelling buff. It could be an issue without this levelling buff, but with it it;s much easier just to skip this zone (personally i would skip it even without this event, there are much other fast level options for this lvl range)

Sure, but it basically forces anyone who would want to level there to skip it 50% of the time because it’s almost impossible to get anything done there without aggroing 54-59 mobs when you’re level 48 or lower.

It’s a very dense questing zone with lots of good quests that are impossible to do 50% of the time.

I mean to be honest I did Searing Gorge at around level 53 and the quests were still green (you also get full exp a level or two after they turn grey) so I’ve dine most of them at that point. Nothing terrible about delaying the quests for few levels.
