Please consider removing Shadowlands Dilettante from limited-time meta-achievement “Back from the Beyond” that is going away with dragonflight. Most of these achievements require tons of timegating (4weeks minimum if you do all of them at the same time at max rank). It will be huge blockroad for people.

they will not if your not on the american forum your feedback is worth about as much as the dirt they scrap of their boots blizz had said before that they don’t read any forum but the us one and i doubt team horde is any different

the eu forum is basically a giant echo chamber with 1 part time employee moderating it all

I cant stress enough how hard this will be to complete with little time that is left.

I only recently started to work towards this achievement but its going extremaly slow.
Time gating, rng and so on.

Also announcement about removal was really late. People should have more time. :pensive:

Just deal with it that some people will not get this achiv, it’s easy enough as it is.

Better idea is to not remove Back from Beyond achievement at all. FOMO nonsense shouldn’t be in a persistent world long term game like WOW. Except in some prestigous achievements such as Ahead of the Curve and some Gadiator mounts.

I found out they were adding this back in April in the next patch 9.2.5

I worked my way through the requirements. I had to do the other covenants as the only one I’d done was Venthyr.

I do think there was enough time but maybe not if you only discovered the achievement existed when they announced what was being removed.

I won’t even try. I am sick of this FOMO nonsense so I will start to deliberately do the opposite: don’t do it. From now on I plan to deliberately avoid completing anything that will be removed. Any achievement, any mount, any transmog any pet, or any title that I don’t have and will be announced to be removed I will do all I can to avoid getting it. Even if I am working on any reward I plan to stop the moment it is announced it becomes FOMO.

I don’t want any FOMO reward. I won’t contribute to Ion’s statistics that show how people are more engaged playing the game thanks to FOMO. It has the opposite effect on me, to want me to stop playing the game.

I don’t FOMO. I will DMOAFOMO, Deliberately Miss Out Any FOMO

I just don’t get it why they’re removing it.

While seasonal things are time limited and make sense this one doesn’t… especially when there’re is so much RNG behind it.

meta? im workin on it since last month and while the kyrian one is bleah… the other 3 are doable with a minimum effort
i would like they remove torghast ones… but they never do it so… nevermind
