Nothing helpful or positive has ever been said in battleground chat. Please just disable the feature for solo queue. Everyone who used to give sensible tactics is now too afraid to do it anymore because of the auto mute/ban system. And everyone who isn’t afraid just tilts the rest of the team with what they are spewing.
Toxic battleground chat is the number one reason healers quit. Also make it impossible to whisper them after the match. I’ve literally had someone stalk me on 10 different accounts after i blocked them every time. It’s bad.

Don’t write stuff that can be interpreted as an insult, and you will be fine.

Of course you can be muted for saying “hunter can you defend pls?”. There just need to be enough reports for your character, it’s automatic. You just might get unmuted again after a week or two when you make enough tickets for a human to look at it.
However, if you said anything even remotely questionable at all, ever, the mute will stick.

Weird, I’ve never been muted for that and I call out strats etc every bg, whether it’s rated or unrated. 
Do you feel like wow is too much of an mmorpg for you? If you dont want to interact with ppl, play arpgs, which have 10 times better combat, intemizations, builds, replayability or cost 1/10 of what this game does. And you are required to have zero other player interaction!

Or, disable your own chat? Dont ask for a full sweeping change for something almost no-one wants? Cause if we can do that to each other, it wont be long until you’re the victim of it too.

Exactly. Don’t ask to disable the chat in MMORPG. If you don’t like someone … you can just block him. Oooor just remove it for yourself and you will be fine.
If you are a healer and you quit because of the chat … Why play support in the first place if you hate people ?
