Please disable Leap of Faith when capturing a flag

This is extremely annoying. It’s not even funny.

You’re interrupting the player who’s capturing the flag, which delays the warfront progress, which means you’re essentially making us all waste our time the most stupid possible way. You’re also preventing the player from obtaining the Strike Fast or Night Moves achievements.

Stop. This. Trolling.

Not funny.

I’d imagine it’s hilarious if you’re the perpetrator and annoying if you’re the ‘victim’.

Kind of see where you’re coming from though; but I’d do a ‘suggestion in game’ report.

Yeah, well, I do understand a bit of trolling now and then, that’s ok, we all laugh, but this is happening way too many times lately. I just don’t understand it, it’s like pulling the flag capper in Arathi or Warsong battlegrounds, it just doesn’t make sense, you’re wasting time.

Thanks for the suggestion, will do.

It is funny

I don’t mind, because I got the achievement because someone Leap of Faithed the other guy away…

The better fix would be to change the achivement: be within 40yd of the base being captured. I don’t get why there’s such solo-achievement in what’s team content…

If only ring of peace worked on allies as well, I’d switch mains on a heartbeat.

That’s because it’s part of an achievement

You can hand of protection people too to cancel it. Or at least you used to be able to in AV. I mean, so I’ve heard :relaxed:

imagine the situation where all the players in the raid just run to the flag waiting to be the lucky one doing nothing while the boss pounds all of them into the ground

it really should give the achievement to everyone in a small area around the flag or anyone who starts the capture process.

To be fair, there is always way too many people trying to cap the flag, so I am sure you weren’t necessarily going to get credit even if you weren’t pulled away.

I don’t think it is that common either, but what do I know.

I love when there is that person who stands next to the flag doing nothing while the rest is killing the boss so he’s the first capturing the flag, and I just pull them.

If you are one of those, sorry not sorry.

You can also MC the last boss in the Stormstrong Valley Assault/Invasion and run off with it so people cannot kill …not that I’d do anything like that :rofl::rofl:

Its more annoying when you’re afking at a flag and not contributing to taking down the elite.

I would guess this was the reason it was done to you.

Nope, the only time a priest used LOF on me when capping a flag was a month ago during the Arathi warfront. I always dps the boss, look at my class - I can both stand next to the flag and nuke the boss from afar.

I posted this because, today with my horde character, I’ve seen three different priests in five different Darkshore warfronts pulling flag cappers who did help killing the boss, just for trolling. It did not amuse me, I want that player to get the achievement, and I do not want the warfront to take longer.

I do agree with the suggestions made here, regarding everybody near the flag getting credit.
