Let me just start off by saying that SoD is an awesome idea, it is exactly what I think Classic needed and the potential is through the roof!
In BFD there are a decent amount of swords but no great weapons for enhancement shamans. The best one is the Serra’kis dagger with 1.80 speed. Shamans need slow weapons.
And Reef axe as a 2 hander is quite awful.
Please do not neglect specs in any way in the future, we’re already seeing a bit of that treatment and it would be so sad to see it continue for no reason when you have the power to change it rather simply (as you have with small changes on weekly reset, awesome stuff but might need a bit more).
Ofc I main a shaman so that’s my perspective, idk what other classes might have drawn a bit of a short straw too in some areas.
Tank shaman tho is booming, fits well with the old talent tree aswell.

I think you guys should chill a bit. It’s only the start of this season and we’re all lvl 25. Imagine you were playing on vanilla server right now at 25, which classes would be strong ? Yes, you guessed it right - hunters, rogues, paladins, it is always how it’s been, this is the level range they thrive in, because most of the classes didn’t get their full toolkit yet. Yes, I know this is not vanilla, it is season of discovery, BUT it is season of discovery ON a vanilla based servers, so there should be balance between the “vanilla experience” and the "retail-based SoD runes, classes etc. ". It is going to be better for most classes at 40/50/60 and, of course worse for some. Shamans get chain heal at lvl 40, which is already insanely strong in vanilla, if they were to add 1 rune that enhances it, then all of a sudden priest would not be the only preferred healer anymore. You also get Stormstrike which is not very powerful in vanilla, but imagine it with a rune. Hunters are generally known to be strong untill 60, then they fall of a tree when other classes start scaling better. Its like that for most of the classes. Admit it, Blizzard are doing their best at monitoring different stuff and making changes almost EVERY day. Just enjoy the meta we have at 25, because in couple of weeks we will never have it again. And if you don’t enjoy it - just make an alt which is strong at lvl 25, you can level it in 2 days, and just wait for your main to get strong when they release phase 2 or phase 3 !
