PLEASE do something about RP shards

Sorry if this comes across as a whine thread, I’m just so frustrated and just want to try and reach out to Blizzard to do SOMETHING.

A massive reason I enjoy this game is World PvP out in the world while you’re doing stuff, doing WQs, find someone and fight them - if you win great, if you lose well played to the other guy.
I picked Defias Brotherhood because the factions were balanced, but I’m just constantly getting sharded with Argent Dawn. While levelling I thought there was a slight Alliance bias but ignored it, doing stuff at max level I found almost every PvP WQ just had a raid group of Alliance camping it (Again, mostly Argent Dawn).
If someone sees me and fights me, it’s because they have a group right behind them. If I attack someone, it’s only a matter of time before several Alliance stumble upon us and ruin the 1v1.

I know RP servers phasing works in such a way to avoid ruining RP events among the servers but please Blizzard if you’re going to put 0 energy into balancing the warmode for it, at least let us toggle whether we can phase with normal servers or not. I’m so sick of constantly being outnumbered.

Just do what all the other horde babies do, make a 40 man raid to win a 2 vs 2, seems to work all the time & you get the added benefit of pulling people in from tarren mill, draenor, stormscale and kazza ^-^

What a load of nonsense. For every horde player that does that there are 3 alliance players able to do the same on RP realms- and they do. “Horde babies” you get free gear and bonus rewards whilst playing in easy mode against a faction you outnumber massively. You are playing the game with safety wheels, how the hell do you have any credibility to call anyone else babies?

Aw diddums, hiding behind a level 50 avatar. Guess you’re horde primarily too, face it–you clearly don’t understand why the pvp bonus exists if you haven’t seen the worst of it from an alliance POV.

Mechagon & Nazjatar was uninhabitable when it was current content even on RP shards cause of horde 40 man raids zoning in from PVE servers onto RP shards, don’t try and play victim card if you’re not willing to post on your main. Horde literally had 90% of the events I participated in un-contested due to the sheer number of offrealmers which were freely able to realm hop.

You objectively outnumber Horde on RP realms. No amount of you crying it’s unfair because you still lose even when the odds are in your favour changes that fact. “You don’t understand why the pvp bonus exists”. No I do, you clearly do not. The pvp bonus exists because on normal realms the alliance are too cowardly to leave war mode on for any possibility they might face even, 1v1 odds. Thus leaving horde, on average (thought not in practice), as a higher percentage. On RP realms this is simply not the same. “Nazjatar and Mechagon was uninhabitable”. What a crock. You’re benefitting from the bonus, whilst enjoying having an easy ride against limited opposition, and you’re still whining. Pathetic.

Like you would know when you’re just hiding behind your alt, we lost more or less 90% of the fights in Nazjatar when the event popped cause 40+ horde easily so phased in, but then again you wouldn’t know cause your main is very likely to be horde yourself, given your posting on a level 50 char.

The only time I won any naz battles were on a dead shard inhabited at best by around 5 alliance players during sleeping hours

On argent dawn we do sure, you can’t prove for any other server however linked to a RP shard. The bonus applies across EU under the circumstance that RP servers aren’t explicitly locked to RP servers, sure sympathy could be had–but given on multiple occasions from a point of view which is somebody who actively does W-PVP And end game content in said end-game zones was easily majority horde > alliance. Simply off the fact horde always pulled people in from alternate realms which nulls any “disadvantage” they came into and if anything gives them advantage since majority of alliance players on RP realms aren’t even partied either.

There is literally no argument you can logically make to your favour. Even if you count the fact that off realmers can be poured in, both factions can do that, and the Alliance on argent dawn have more players to make these groups (and they do it constantly also.) You clearly only ever played alliance on this realm for any considerable amount of time. I played both. There is no contest, the alliance have a vastly easier ride AND are rewarded extra for it. It is not nullified by “off realmers” as Alliance off realm swarms are still more common than their horde counterparts on AD as there are just so many more alliance in war mode also making those groups. This isn’t a matter that warrants “some sympathy”. It is a broken system you are exploiting. End of story. If you can’t even win the world pvp objectives with safety wheels attached, I cannot imagine how badly you would do with an even match.

To be fair, back when that underwater area with the fishsnake people started in bfa I could hardly do a quest in warmode without a 40man raid of horde running up and over me. They invited from all otehr servers just to get a quest done.

It was slaughter. Bodies of my Ally brothers and sisters being thrown up the water falls, burried into the dirt and stabed more times than a sunday roast.

(Yes I’m playing it up a bit.)

It’s warmode, you pick if you want to risk a gank and get that extra what 30% rep/gold/whatever.

If it makes you feel better, I tend to over reach and take on more than I can chew. (I also tend to avoid/help other druids in wm no matter the faction. Gota have that Circle connection)

Love it when people bring up the past to justify the present. The present is alliance vastly outnumbers horde in any WM ON shard. I reckon at this point the horde simply turned it off because there is zero incentive to keeping it on and it’s a spiral in which people start turning it off and then the remaining players start getting outnumbered and turning it off too and now I stealth on WM ON and see one horde every blue moon and dozens of alliance players. Aren’t the rewards supposed to favor the outnumbered faction? Cause I don’t see alliance being outnumbered at the moment so switch the rewards back to the outnumbered faction and maybe the horde will have an incentive to turn WM back on.

Or it could just be the case of since how badly the horde group up in WM (which is very very true.), you’re just never merged into a shard with any horde in. Cause the horde who are likely meant to be in -that- shard are just in another shard in a raid stack.

The out number bonus is EU wide, so if the horde are a majority it means their just abusing grouping to cram as many horde into 1-x shard as possible, in other words. Its their own faction sabotaging the solo players

I don’t think this is the case as most the people I know and from my guild simply don’t turn WM On, there is just no reason to turn WM on at this stage.

Should of played with me from alliance POV During mechagon and nazjatar patch, horde easily was 2/3:1 compared to alliance whenever I went there to the point that even exiting mechagon was only possible outside of WM. I do have images for reference if you don’t believe me :stuck_out_tongue:

Again, I am talking about the present not the past. I do believe you but things have changed since Nazj and Mecha.

Give it time dude, when theres a new peak go-to location and a incentive to grind in mass they’ll be back and the zone will be a lagfest bordering un-inhabitable.
