I cant do this anymore blizzard, i want my legion havoc back thats not as overpowered to play against. I dont want to flip a coin every expansion on which built you want to artificially push forward:
1)Scuffed shadowpriest (bloodlet/momentum)
2)scuffed ww monk (mobility and “burst”)
3) ??? (shadowlands version)

revert back to legion dh if you are that confused about dh as a class.

Been looking over logs from all content from the past months and i believe there might be a reason for why they won’t or can’t do anything about DH. Based on some tier lists from wlogs or raider io it seems that Havoc is an A tier for Raid and C tier in m+. This would put the spec into an overall B possition which is better than averge. I can only assume that they won’t change DH too much because the class is not bad, but not the greates eitther. The way the class works now is that the AOE spell are also the single target spells, which means that any buff for m+ would atuomatically boost the class in Raid (which i assume they are trying to avoid).
One option would be to nerf the single target (auto attack or DB) in order to be able to buff AOE, to boost M+ presence, but that means that the spec might struggle in Raid. Again, i think this is something they might want to avoid.
I honestly believe they didn’t think at the relation between all the DH spells and now they can’t buff one content without heavily affecting the other (Raid vs m+).

Now looking at PVP, this is where i think they just want to give DH a rest. DF showed how OP DH can be at times and this might be a reason for why they couldn’t give a crap about us. They can easily give 50% increase dmg for 1-2 spells and balance the class DPS compared to others, but they won’t do it. They definitely know that DH is less that 2% represented in PVP, so is not like they are blind. I just think they don’t want to touch the class for PVP any time soon.

I’m not trying to defend blizz here. They created this whole mess themselves and they should fix it one way or another. Or else, at least they can take 5 mins of their time and let us know why exactly they are okay with what is happening with DH, or any underperforming class.
