Please fix the Evoker Emerald Communion bug that has been happening since prepatch

This is driving me crazy, the preservation evoker gets stuck in emerald communion animation until you relog. Reload does not do anything. Dying sometimes helps, but not always. It’s been happening almost every dungeon I’ve played since prepatch, so over a month now. Loud noise, big aoe animations blocking ground mechanics.

Yes, pleas fix this Bug. I get the animation from emerald communion stuck on me constantly.

You need to report it to Blizzard, as forum staff aren’t on the development team.

This is done from in game by selecting “Send Feedback or Report a Bug” from the support menu.

Bug is still in the game. It can make m+ quite annoying, especially when pugging without voice (because I guess that only the preservation evoker himself sees the animation).

Thanks for the reports, we do have an open bug for this.

So far reports indicate that it happens when cast in quick succession together with hover, but we’ve had some problems reproducing it internally, so if you notice anything specific that seems to trigger it, please do send along the details in a bug report.

One weird idea: maybe it has to do something with the Stonevault instance or specific mobs / spells there? I just realized that the video from @Andragon is from that instance too.

Nope, just happened to me on a Necrotic Wake +11 third boss, I couldn’t see embalming ichor underneath me and died. Please fix this asap or just change the animation of communion to be an overhead icon like monk essence font or priest oracle. Animations at your feet is just bad game design when 90% of game mechanics are “dodge stuff at your feet”.

Imagine something small like this still not being fixed.
Friendly reminder, a multi million dollar company, with thousands of employers and they still didnt fix the bug.
Its just annoying being stuck in the animation…hell even I could fix this within a day (yes Im programmer)

Same here. The only way i’ve found to remove this bug is to die. But still can happen soon after that

How do you have a problem reproducing it? I started a new character yesterday and i’ve been grinding timewalking dungeons for leveling. I’ve been stuck in that animation for probably 50% of my entire time playing the class…Each and every dungeon I do I get stuck in it, sometimes by the end, sometimes on the very first pull…

I feel it has gotten worse. I get it constantly in shuffles now, and once you “proc” it, it stays on for the WHOLE 6 ROUNDS. This is really game-breaking for prevokers, please do something.

Also, I feel like once you had it “proc”, your client seems tainted somehow - you are bound to get it again and again, even if you leave one instance (say, a shuffle) and its not active - if you get into combat again, it will come back with way higher percentage.

Another attempted fix went out for this issue a couple of days ago.
